Thread: Padawan Body Guards...something fun.

Another idea popped into my head...could be a little crazy. You might think I'm a jedi when you read this, but I'm not 
. I'm definatly a bounty hunter.
. I'm definatly a bounty hunter.Many times when I am grindingfor my FS village stuff with my jedifriendsor guildies, I wish I could help them when a bounty hunter comes along and wishes to kill him. So I thought, what if we(the people of swg)had Padawan body guards? This sort of goes along with the bounty hunter vs bounty hunter idea. A padawan could delegate someone to be their body guard, just one person. If a bounty hunter came along, then he would have to go through the body guard first before being allowed to attack the padawan. Role players would love it, and PvP fanatics would too;I certainly would (not implying that I attack padawans

- Personally, I thinkbounty hunters should role as the body guards,but I suppose otherprofessions would work.
- Just1 body guard.
- I just realized: 9/10 times the paddy wouldflee while their body guard is fighting...something would need to be done about that. I don't know right now, it's too late. /discuss this idea please, think up some ideas, suggest some rules. I think it is a good way to bring more player vs player into the game by including more professions in the grand scheme of Bounty Hunter pvp;Huntingonly jedigets old after a while. Flame if you like, but I won't listen .

if they run, then the body guard would have the option of either finishing his kill or letting the bounty hunter "slip" by. though i think it would be funny as hell to see a body guard turn out to be the bounty hunter, jedi wouldnt see it coming

but then the BH would have to kill 2 people to earn the money. thats no fun

i wont lie, i would do it every chance i get, or i would say grab a friend, have him get the mission and id get it too, and once he came we would both "fight to the death" then at a certain point both turn on the jedi and destroy him

Perhaps, we could go with the body guard letting the Bh slip by idea, and in conjunction: The padawan may thenrun if his body guard falls in battle. Or we could totally change up bounty hunting's Dead or Dead conceptto Dead or Alive, allowing the padawan who just lost his bodyguard to be taken alive to some place..a bounty office or something...or simply the bounty terminal. Bounties choosing to run risk losing the normal amount of experience lost, or they can turn themselves in and lose less. I know, it's a little off subject.
Another idea: A smaller bounty may be collected for killing the body guard. Something along the lines of less than 50% of the padawans bounty. If both the body guard AND padawan are killed, the bounty hunter earns the extra money.
I can see it now....
BH: "Im coming for you"
Paddy: "My body guard will kick your ass!"
BH: "..."

haha alright how about this then, i hire another bounty hunter to take the guys mission, and while the jedi is watching his body guard destroy my friend, and my friend is running away leading the bg with him, i sneak up from behind, use cover, then advanced sniper into the back and its over, oh yah, then i run and help my friend finish off the guard, or we could iono, make the guard who "failed" his duty go into some sort of servitude, like a week doing only missions for say jabba or something like that, iono

haha i like my idea that if the body guard fails, he is either killed or taken prisoner, that would make the job more risky but fun

RP would be stronger if we could actually use something from the Star Wars storyline...oh I don't know... PADAWAN/MASTER RELATIONSHIP.
And btw, we have been asking for this since umm... FRS was introduced I believe.

lol or, we could have a jedi with a non jedi body guard, who would fight the bounty hunters if they came along, yah, i happen to like that idea more
