Thread: Sick at what SOE have done to this game.

Sorry long post but I ahve had just about enough of this game lately
I have been playing this game since Euro launch and have been a MBH most of that time. And ever since I first started playing this game I have been hooked.
When I firts brought this game I did not buy it for jedi, when I firstheard of the game I wanted to be eather a Commando or Bounty Hunterjedi never even crossed my mind. And I was looking forward to getting involved in a exciting GSW as a Imperial officer (haha what a joke that turned out to be).
I have never griefed a jedi
I have never Ganked a Jedi
I have never Trashed talked or thrown abuse at a jedi
I do not have any form of saber envy if i wanted jedi I could of got it ages ago.
I'm not in it really in it to cause any death penalty and enjoy the hunt more than the killing. Infact although I would'nt agree with it I would of preferd hem to have removed the death penalty on jedi than to realease this sad excuse for a patch
For over 18 months I endured patch after patch that SOE have released. Alot of the patchs have brough new and exciting stuff to the game. And if the game had stayed as it was when first launched I probably would not be play this game today. I'm even one of the few that prefer the CU.
But... SOE has also released alot of crap and have made plenty of random stupid decisions. But I have lived through those decisons and mistakes have survied all the ups and downs of this game and have adapted. Eg when wookie world was released, while other BH were crying and quitingI adapted, when bounty payouts were all 15k, when seekers would not work and jedi were ubere killing machines that could take on 5 ramgedBH at once.
Even the lowest pointwere my former Guild which was one of the most well organized strongest and proudestimperial guilds of my sever broke up to leave for other "better managed"online games did not even make me consider quiting this game.
But now after 18 months this game has degraded in what I feared would happen when the first jedi unlocked.
GSW has degraded into jedi wars were I'm nothing but a extra surpport guy or cannon fodder so to speak. Ihave no intrest in getting involed in GSW now like i did4-5 months ago. This what first made me think about cancelling my account.
But I still had My MBH, although jedi might have ruined my GSW It at least gave me rich hunting grounds.
And this has kept me going ingame for the past few months.
But now this riduclus pathticexcuse for a patch has ruined even that part ofthe game for me now.
Not only is it impossible to hunt marks on wookie world but I have to shift through tons of offline marks wasting hours of my life.
and the only jedi I can hunt are full template jedi knights which I lose too 7/10 times which is hardly worth the effort. I cant look up my friend to warm them if there on theterms (or just be mean and kill them for a laugh in the case o fone of them who owed me moneylol).
This patch has ruined my only reason to carry on playing this game. It has ruined the proffesion that I have played for most of my online experiance. And for the first time in goodness know how long I'm considering cancelling my acounts for good as at the moment it looks as if the DEV really dont give a dam about the game now and want thsi to turn into jedi wars now and dont give a dam about any other proffesion.
I dont care if any Devs take any of this in , just as long as they read this and know howI have changed from along term loyal customer who rarely complaned and was happy to keep payinghis£10 (think that what I pay cant be botherd to work out the exact currency tranfer) a monthto a disatsified angry customer on the verge of quiting.

Got the exactly same feeling here too.
The DEVS better come up with some good new s for us FAST!
Or they will sit with empty galaxies soon. And prolly without jobs too.

You didnt blame the war in iraq, fammine, and the world economy on the Jedi. I cant beleive that a seasoned vetern like yourself would whine louder and longer than a respec. If you cry this much, you were probably not that good as a bh and maybe its time for you to find an easier game to play. its obvious that you dont know how to play the game after such along time in it. Jedi have had to adapt every week for two months and you get one patch and fall to pieces. Its no wonder real MBH are ridiculing posters like this.

well as a jedi even i'm admitting that offline jedi thing is a crock since that was supposed to be fixed. and for some reason i have yet to be hunted. that's no fun either! but im sure soe is listening intently and will hotfix it or get it sorted for the next publish. but a month of this will be bad. but i have been here since mid july of 2003 (two year vet now) so i have sat through it all pretty much. and yes i did get this game to be a jedi, but i waited until a month ago to get it (well, nine months doing the village...) originally i was going to be a BH/CH since i thought it might help to have pets tank for me.
what a good idea to do would be to ignore this and hope they fix it, the coro's know what is going on, they play this game too. instead let the CH/SL/rangers get their patches as well as the crafters since they are messed up to. we just never hear about it because we are obsessed with our own little min-world here. despite what seems like a majority of players being BH or jedi there are still other professions out there that have been waiting for a fix.

stupid whining BH's they get a few things changed and they go mental and dont take our nerfs into consideration dont forget we get nerfs too in fact we had 2 major nerfs to enable u to hunt us down and u BH laugh when that happens now its our turn for a laugh at u lot for a change there is a good reason for why devs removed names was to prevent spamming same mission on a selected player and greiving and the patch said they list online players u all know its a bug why dont u just chill out mr BH cos they will fix it and u can hunt jedi untill ur heart is content i see pll whine thet jedi are overpowered and stuff. Damn u guy are jedi suppose to be uber cos i belive they are

i woudl also suggest they make ur mission fail as soon as the jedi logs, but i know this would be abused if the jedi knew u were on him, rna into his house, and logged off.on real quick. maybe have it cancel at logout until u attack him? i dunno but they might be able to smooth that out of them loggin in teh middle of the hunt.

The line highlighted in RED is the most valid point that needs to expressed to the community. I play a Jedi and do not find enjoyment from engaging in large scale "Jedi Civil War" battles either.

Excellent post.
I bet a lot of old BH's are thinking the same thing, myself included, but are just too exhausted to argue it anymore.

All the BH's feel the same bro,.. another good game gone to crap. Nothing else to do but to move on to something else.
I quit also, only reason I quit thou was because of the kash "wuss Jedi Enclave" BS.

I hear ya mate, I've felt the same way with every nerf "my" chosen proffession has endured patch after patch.....Devs have NO idea whats going on....but there may be some hope for you and everyone else....
With the new FRS coming (soon i hope) it should take jedi OUT of the GCW....and believe you / me, i hope it does, I've never supported jedi being in the GCW, Jedi should have their own war to fight between Jedi and Sith...not this stupid Dark jedi title. and I'm hopeful the New FRS will do that...it's for the best of the game and may just save it.

BTW nice too see you BHs flame just as much as jedi 
(no fingerpointing either...just in general)
