I'm a little confused about master marksman requirements. Do you need to max out the range support categories as well? Or just the weapon trees?

Holy molly! That's a lot of shooting. I wonder if it's harder to become a Master Marksman or a Master Pistoleer/Carbineer/Riffleman. Probably about the same amount of effort.

Yeah it's a little weird 'cause the skill tree says "mastery of all three weapon proficiencies" but doesn't talk about the support category. It makes sense that all 4 are needed, since that's the way everything else works. It's just not the way the skill reads.

I have recently aquired enough points teaching to gain the skill Master Marksman, but I was curious what it takes to gain the skill? Do I have to reach specialist in Rifle, Pistol, Carbine, and Ranged Support? I am currently a carbine specialist and ranged support specialist, but I don't have the points available to Specialize every weapon. Is it possible to still become a master marksman with the skills I have?

Master Marksman means you have mastered every branch of the Marksman tree, so yes you will need to be specialized in all categories.

master marksmen will only give you +5 carb speed and +5 or 10 accuracy, can't remember...not worth it imo.

Hi There All,
I,ve been Master Carb for a few weeks now and i must say it has improved but not as well as i thought. I just want to know (and this probably sounds like a real noob question) does having Master Marksman help?, I've had a few duels since pub 7 and i myself only seem to get actionshot 2 to do anything, i try to use charge2 but nothing charge 1 is the same and well dont get me started on dizzy, so in a sense a bleed and kneel kd is all i have and im a bit peeved
, so does Master MarkMan improve the chance of getting KD to work or anything for that matter. I was Master MarksMan but dropped it to get Master CH and some Med skills.
Someone please help otherwise im seriously think of a new combat prof something that i can use to fight hehe.
Jaklas.

I'm new to rifleman, and I was just wondering how much does master marksman help? I know there's some extra speed, but is it worth the skill points? Thanks in advance

A Master Rifleman + Master Marksman will fire SS2 twice as fast as just a Master Rifleman. You'll have to decide for yourself if it's worth it to you. Most say yes- especially if rifle speed tapes are too expensive on your server
Also, more Riflemen may want to pick up Master Marksman in the future if they don't have it already. Aside from the reworking of all speed calculations for the CB, Master Marksmen will be getting some 'goodies' in the future. I hope at least one fo them is rifle-related
