Thread: a heads up bh

I have been a jedi for a while. I was killed pre-cu once and it was because i put myself on the terms to see how it worked. Post-CU I had never been killed untill yesterday. This is a story for all you bh's out there that think it is impossible to kill full templates and a high-five to the bh that killed me. First let me state that the bh would have no chance against me if it were a strait up fight, and that is why this is such a good kill.

So i decide to change one line in my template, I am out in a grinding group on dant, doing my thing, spinning away on a lair. I have aggro of 15 to 20 pikets and am getting beat pretty bad.(not master defender) I see a blue dot, crap got to be a bh, we are in the middle of nowhere. Well to make a short story shorter, two shots from the bh and 20 hits from pikets and i am down. I never even got to attack the bh. So i just want to say nice kill, and good work.

Now in no way do i support the bh system as it is now because i believe that if you hurt another players gameplay you are griefing no matter how you slice it, but i play the game and take it the way it is even if i do not think it is right.

In closing i just wanted to make note of how this bh killed me and say that his tactics were sound and good job.

most jedi i kill like that call me cheap, lame, loser, etc, and compare such tactics to running in circles around a house to escape combat (which is lame).

He is pretty much telling BHs to shut up about nerf calls and use their first strike to its fullest potential - doesnt sound as rude as I put it, though

This is THE best tactic when fighting full temps. Less chance of taking damage and shorter fights.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding something here, but what exactly is a Bounty Hunter? If he has your Bounty he is not coming over to have a cup of Tea with you and have a gentlemenly-slap-of-the-gloves duel with you in the backyard. If you want to be a Jedi in Star Wars expect that Bounty Hunters also have a place in the game.

What you misunderstood (because likely you posted before you finished reading the OP) was that the OP was comp-li-ment-ing the BH on using tactics in taking him down.

Re-read the OP, especially the line that begins "In closing ...".

Sheesh.

I dont get it? It's not impossible to kill anyone. Heck, you can kill someone while they are cloaked, just because something is possible doesnt mean it isnt over powered. I kill full temps all the time, I got capped weapons and Im good at pvp. The average pvper has a lot harder time than I do.

if you are not a defender then why are you spinning away on a lair?

If you have a mix of MLS with some defender and enhancer you can still spin lairs, you do not need to be master defender. Although it does take a major toll on your force pool.
