Thread: template feedback

I'm planning to go for the following template
Master Brawler
Master Swords
4000 TKA - medidtate line
1140 Doc - so I can use stim C packs
4440 Scout - terrain negotiation, trapping and skinning them beasties.
feedback ?

Well if you could make that I am impressed as u need 74 more Skill points, if u of corse didnt mean Medic; 1140 
If so.... why have trapping? And hunting 4? It isnt a to big diffrence in the harvesting. If i shuld have max Terrain Negotiation, i would stopped at eplor 3, you dont need Explor 4, no ekstra Terrain Negotiation points there. So save those 5 ekstra points. Wath you might want is some more meele and ranged defence. So when u already have Novice TKA use those trapping points to level the Precision line. Witch shuld give you 60 more meele def, and 45 more ranged defence. If you drop hunting 4 and 3 get some more state defences on the TK balance tree

I am not a Jedi, I just play one on TC2. I do have a great interest in joining the ranks, however. I have never really contemplated building a template so I'm rather new at it. I would like to offer up the following to the masses. Rip it apart:

It forgoes the use of Defense 0/4/0/0 in leu of saberblock (which in my experience seems to work well against ranged), has all the good commands for melee combat, a well rounded assortment of healing ability, a nice selection of force protection/enhancements... it looks really nice to me. The only weakness I see is the lack of ForceRun and a small Force Pool (5825). What do you all see?

Im a current swordsman who is considering reworking my template to get better use from my smuggler specials, the template im considering is M.smuggler. and BH 0-0-4-0, but i cant decide on which pistoleer lines to get, and will the lack of defense leave me stumped in PvE?

With this template, I've got a saber that targets the mind, I can intimidate and use lightingthen meditate my force and cure myself after the fight.
I need some advice
I'm more interested in PvE, but would like to be able to hold my own in PvP just in case a pesky BH comes out to hunt me.
Is Master LS a must?
What template did you choose and why?

Youd be better dropping the powers intimidate and getting novice brawler, less sp and you dont use force when using it.
Id say powers are more an RP tool than a useful skill, drop the intimidate line pick up brawler and personally for PVE the Polearm saber would be better.

1handed lightsabers are lower damage. The speed rating is higher,but as you know,that means nada until combat balance (but that's a big MAYBE). I suggest at least dropping the 1hand and doing polearm. A 3rd gen 1hand wouldn't do much damage and you'd really struggle in pvp because of it.

I'd consider axing the xxx4 enhancer and instead master power. Unless you explicitly do not want to master power, to avoid the 3,2 mil master box.
MLS is definetaly worth it in PvP but in PvE the difference is lesser. You'll have poor defenses with no defender skills and no MLS, but intimidate will hopefully make up for that in PvE at least.

Mind hits are king in PvP right now though, and the combat balance will fix speed calculations, so the polearm won't automatically be higher damage. Furthermore, without MLS, you won't be speed capped with a polearm unless you have insanely good crystals.
After the combat balance, sabers will be a matter of taste, apart from the minor differences in specials (the polearm having AoE posture down for example).

Dont understand much about the "Combat revamp".
Will the combat be adjusted so the jedi can be superior again?
