Thread: Anyone else notice......
Since publish 22 i have dont about 40 NPC missions and have gotten 2 clear crystals. The rest of the stuff was smuggler slicing tools. I have not gotten ANY good loot. These BH missions are a crock of $hit. I dont even waste my time with them anymore.
1/2 of all my missions (no kidding) have been off the planet, on the sides or corneres of the map and always give me the "mission incomplete" when i get near. If the misisons aren't in the middle of the planet, i dont even TRY and fly out to the marks anymore.

Well I have just started out grinding Ivestigation tree, and I yet have to loot anything other than slicing tools... Let's hope I loot something other than this...
Apparently, good loot will start at investigation 4, and boss marks will only be drawed at MBH.
- If they are in a battlefield and you can see it as you head to them. Back off at least 500 meters and wait them to move.
- If they are in deep water and you know it as you head to them, Back off and wait for them to move.
- If they are off the edge of the map or very close too it... yadda yadda... back off and wait.
- If they are in a house or under it. Drag a critter close or have someone duel you and do an area attack (if possible). Most of the time you are already too close to back off and wait.
When you back off an wait, you NEED to have not come too close to allow them to spawn. If they do spawn, the won't move. Basicly, that means never getting within about 250 meters of them
Also, I've said this before too. When they do move, they almost ALWAYS head to the nearest starport and thier first jump is almost always about 2500 meters. So, place yourself between them and the nearest starport, staying about 2500 meters away. They'll jump and with any luck be VERY close to you.
Good luck.
I'm writing this as I wait for a spawn to move off the edge of the map. it take about 2-6 minutes. Sometimes it takes about 1 seeker droid, sometimes not.

That is a very helpful post, thanks a lot! However, do NPC missions always jump?

Yes.. as long as you don't get within 250 meters (safe is 500).
The only ones I can't get a fix for is the white dot commoners in original cities. Those ones, I've left the planet, moved 5k away, logged out for a day and they ALWAYS stay white dot commoners. Those ones are rare and just need to be dropped.
