This past weekend ln three seperate hunts I engaged my mark. After spending 20 min or more wearing down my opponent's force/mind while conserving my own I start lagging. Normaly I ping at about 80-90 with 20-30 fps. In all these instances my ping shot up to over 600 and fps droped to 1-3. In one case the jedi stoped because he said he could tell how bad I was laging.

I have no problem with losing to an opponent who has more skill than me, but losing to SOE's over burdened servers is too much.

I've lost some sweet battles due to this crap. I had one a few weeks ago that I was so close to winning and then I got kd'd and the lag set in and I could not do anything. Then after I clone I got system messages about can't kd recover or shoot my rifle cuz of invalid target crap. I've had this happen so many times. I'll get lagged to hell and then as soon as i clone everything tries to happen all at once. it sucks

Yeahi agree, last night on dantooine i hunted a jedi and the lag was so bad i couldn't even spin advanced critical/ improved headshot lol. it was kinda sad, the fight went on for about 15 mins, finally i asked for a draw, but he said "nope your gonna die". i was like "fine." 10 more mins passed without anyone of us taking any damage... finally i put an electrolyte drain on him and ran off using my barc. lol ok he was a MD but the lag was insane.

I tried dueling another BH in Dearic yesterday just for fun before I went hunting. Talk about a bad place for a fight. As soon as we started dueling my FPS went to 1, and I couldn't do much of anything. I KD'd him, he KD recovered and KD'd me, and that was about all I accomplished in the fight. After I KD recovered I just stood there until I died because the lag was so bad I couldn't take any other actions. Once I died I got a string of "you can not critical shot while incap'd" messages. Lovely. Way to go SOE.

is this a petition lol? anyways... petitions for better servers wont work i think, thats not changing anything in the game, rather making servers better, and we all want that dont we? its not 2 sides like the "CU fights"

4. Disabled background downloading on the launchpad

Happy to say although I dont think I am back to pre-cu level of performance it is DRAMATICALLY improved, and very close to optimal performance.
