Thread: Anyone had this happen?
To be efficient in Jedi killing you have to setup your macros optimally
Forget the target yourself manually and tabbing back. What are you going to do in a populated area likeDantooine with all themanimls running around and cant locate your mark because you are trying to tab back to him and only cycling thru all thewildlife there? Even if its in a city, you always have roaming npcs there like Corsecs and what not. You never know when your mark is going to move..... Just use one hotkey always for the following
Make aheal macro button, set this up.....
/target self
/ui action toolbarSlotxx (xx is the toolbar you have your stim or heal at)
/target <insert your marks name>
With one button push you will auto target yourself, heal, then auto target back to your marks name.

I am just saying to completely eliminate the possiblity, why would you ever use the tab key for pc marks... ??

There is a much better way still.
With any command that you might use on yourself that can also be used on some one else, use the following....
/bactashot (replace with what ever command you use)
/pause 0.1
/bactashot self
When this key is pressed, it will try and heal your target (which can not be done if the target is in combat against you) and then try to heal yourself without ever changing targets. This is very usefull when group hunting. If you need to heal a buddy, target him and press the key. If you need to heal your self, no need to change targets, just press the key. Just make sure you untarget your buddy before trying to heal your self.

P.S. You don't have to target yourself to use stims. I just press the UI spot that has my Stim-D in it and I heal myself without loseing my target.
take his advice. forget the macros now. it works.
