Thread: fix KD recovery!

ok, today i took on a few full templates and some pretty close. none presented much of a challenge, 2 of 3 knights were running from me with no mind while mine was full, other one was at 50% while i had near 90% still.
ive put 175 mill into my equipment so i can stand up to a knight pretty well. all these knights would have lost if kd recovery worked.
this needs to be fixed now.
on a positive note i plan i writing an in debt guid with screen shots and video on how to kill jedi. i have yet to go against one that could kill me without a huge lag spike or kd recovery bug. when i get on my good computer ill start frapsing.

Type /dump next time then try KD recovery again.
For whatever reason it has worked so well (when I get hit with the KD bug) that I have it next to my KD recovery on my tool bar. It's worked the last dozen times

Actually, what you want to do is make a macro and make it do the following:
/dump;
/knockdownrecovery;
Give it the kd recover icon and viola! No more worries about kd recovery!

OMG! Finally someone else verifying it. The devs should post this as a temp fix. The reason I don't do that is that I have the /dump command to stop my duelist when I DB as well. Strictly for KD revocery that is a great idea.

I use the /dump kd recovery and it's not a guarantee. I agree it's extremely annoying. Just be sure and keep lots of ruby bliel on your hot keys and you can usually survive.

It's not KD recovery that's broken... it's more than likely that the people who are having problems with it are running a constant defensive macro for Duelist Stance (or Center of Deing or Bacta Infusion).
I could be wrong, but I've never run into anything like that myself, I use KD Recovery often but I don't run macros.

i don't use macros for combat either, it usually happens when you get kd while trying to do some kind of attack

when i fist get kd i just click the kdr once very calmly and it always works because ive seen some guy say that when you click it twice the second one cancels the first one and so you just get lucky when you stand up and your mashing the button down

You can also use D stims while KD.. so try to save them for healing while kd... saves lives
