I rarely post here but read up on things quite a bit on this forum. But even I noticed that this is the "other" Jedi Forum now!

That's because some of them... a LOT of them have BH alts. Also, I don't mind them here at all as long as they are civil. There are a few Jedi that I have met on our very boards that I have actually grown to respect. So... please, if you are going to speak for the community, please don't make us look like a bunch of asses.

I was a BH before i was a Jedi and still have a MBH toon (i only fight Knight lvl Jedi though). Unless the OP is a pre-mount, pre-player cities MBH he has no right to tell me i cant post here. Im at least as much a MBH as he is...

Im a bountyhunter and i hunt Jedi. If i ever speak with a Jedi i do it ingame as a possible friend. Mainly my own faction. And if i ever(never probably) i go Jedi i will go another profession than BH on my other char. Being a BH/Jedi is like being a Albion/Hibernian in DAoC, a Freeport/Qyenos in EQ2, an imperial/rebel in Swg,a republican/democrat in politics,a pacifist/soldier etc..And i dont speak for the forum, so shouldnt you.

Actually I believe I know the reason for this. Most Jedi use the Jedi boards as a board about our own profession. They use this board as the Jedi vs. BH board. Most of the suggestions on the Jedi board have to do with Jedi (what needs fixing, what skills are overpowered/underpowered, what's a good template, what's good grinding material), so Jedi go over there to talk Jedi talk. But most of the suggestions on the BH board have at least something to do with Jedi (Let us break into houses, fix the Jedi TEF, all the marks are on Kashyyyk now, AFK grinders on the Ryatt trails), so Jedi also gravitate over here. And I don't see that changing in the forseeable future. As long as BHs hunt Jedi and make posts about them on the forums, the Jedi are going to come and defend themselves.

I should when there are people that give BH bad names by being jerks to people who happened to pick the "other" profession. There's no point in instigating and insighting flames and trolling. We are all just people on the other side of these computer monitors and to tell them they have no right in a public forum is wrong.

How so?
I dont hunt Padawan who are trying to lvl. I dont hunt Imperial Jedi. I dont hunt my friends. I dont even hunt Jedi i know to actively attempt and hide or refrain from PvP. The only Jedi that i ever get missions on are rebel 'Knights'. Seeing as my Jedi is/was a DJK, those guys are NOT on my side.
Also, there is more to being a BH than just hunting Jedi. When i first wanted to become a Bh there were no Jedi to hunt, BH was just a badass with a pistol and thats why i wnated it. The same is still true, if i want to be supreme with a pistol, BH is still the thing to stack

So we all should just go ingame and grouphug? The factioning is what feeds the game. Diffrent realms andfactions. This love/hate is the key to any game. How fun would it be if everyone was a Jedi? Sometimes you have to strike for the group you belong to. Not the benefit for you only.

Pffft. This is a public forum. If you are going to be "in character", do it in game. Factioning feeds the game, in game. Here, it only creates strife and discontent. This is where we work out problems and discuss issues with each other. Not get into Jedi/BH battles. That can be done in game.
And before you comment on the BH/Jedi flame threads that we constantly have here... think about how they get started. People, like yourself, Jedi or BH, starts a little thread bashing the other. What happens? A flame thread where people get pissed off and eventually it turns to hate. Then what? You can't get anything accomplished and/or balanced in game if people are hating each other outside of the game. It's unhealthy and it is the exact same thing as insighting a riot in the real world.

Well, this post can look diffrent depening how you read it. If you are filled with hatred you might read it one way. But i shouldnt go bh/jedi and start ranting on the bh boards. And theezse forums might be a good way to solve problems, but i doubt its intentions are that jedi and bh should go around hugging each other.
