Thread: A gift to all Bounty Hunters
Often I've seen peoples signatures on the official SWG forums with a link to images of their kills. These people obviously want to show off their BH skills but have no constructive way to do it. I myself have taken screen shots of my kills but for what purpose? The screen shots will sit in my root directory and do nothing, well, until now that is.
I am very pleased to be introducing to the Bounty Hunter community of SWG a scoring system. I have not been online much over the last few days because I have been making a website for Bounty Hunters. This website contains a scoring system where bounty hunters can log their kills and take part in a "top 20" competition that spans across all the servers.
You think your a good BH? Think you can rate high not only as one of the best on the server but one of the best in the whole of SWG?

This equals to one thing, more content for bounty hunters. Now you can hunt NPCs for loot, hunt jedi for pvp or also hunt jedi to compete.

The site is literally just finished so feedback on it will be appreciated. Also I will be developing more features to it as time permits.
Ok I am going to petition something real quick and hopefully you'll agree.
First this is the coolest thing ever, I applaud you.
I have at least6 kills that were instant corpse, meaning it shows that I have fearlessly slain the oppnent and my PvP rating has gone up, it does not show payment. I have the combat log to prove the kill, I have the screen shot of the dead jedi in every circumstance. In at least 4 of the 6 kills I have a scrteenshot of the conversation that took place between me and the Jedi conerning the lack of payment and what had occured.
This bugoccurs for many reasons, it cocured exclusively when I hunted with my MBH MCH, the pet might have neem preventing the payment,I stopped using that toon to hunt real players and have not had the problem since. I'll still particiapte but I will be starting 6 in the hole if you decide to not exmaine these. I have this docuemented in other threads and can provide the links
Also I have at least one screen shot that shows the dead jedi and everything but payment, but it does show BH XP, I also have the combat log that does show payment. I just missed the screenshotpayment on that one but i have the combat log showing payment , so that should be ok right (seems like it would)?

I say only allow kills starting from now on- would be an even playign field as some peopel have been BHing for quite a deal longer than others. Plus, I havent screenied any of my kills lol
To prevent the service from being exploitable.... (sending multiple fake images etc.) have an admin system to approve pics?
Sounds like a lot of trouble but I've done this once and have the code but lost the website in a horrible accident that to this day I have no clue where it went. I'm forbidden of going to my own website.
I've never made any screenshots of my kills so I'll be starting at the bottom I guess.
