No, we win. I don't see how people don't realize this, but now the Jedi won't be "uber." They'll be a faceless character, an insignificant being in the SW universe, and that's exactly what they don't want.

I agree. The CU2 was the BHs victory over jedi.
Thier mindless mega-grind was in vain. Now all can have a jedi. They got nothing for it and I actually feel sad for them.
At least we BHs had fun while they grinded!!

Having played as both MBH and full-template Jedi, I can tell you that playing as a Jedi was 100 times more fun... force run, cloak, stasis, saber throw, force lightning, regain consciousness, avoid incapacitation, force choke... so much more fun that simply wielding a pistol/carbine/rifle and maybe having a few debuffs.
So we had to grind for a few days to get to full-template, it was more than worth it. You missed out on the most fun the game had to offer, you'll never know what it was like.

All those who grinded it according to the game rules of conduct did it for months and months.
The rest must have exploited/cheate in some way, and then it cant have been fun acheving jedi.
As for the jedi specials its nothing more than diffrent graphics...all other professions has area attacks, burstrun, FD, etc, etc so there was nothing special with jedis tricks and no mystery.
Onlya long grind for nothing it seems now. I feel sorry for you guys now that everyone will be jedi from start.

You're wrong hun, it was perfectly possible late in the game to go from initiate to full template in just a couple of weeks, without breaking any rules. There is absolutely no profession that has the equivalent of FR3 (running almost as fast as swoops), regain consciousness (you can use your rez ring, but once it's gone, it's gone), avoid incapacitation, cloak, etc. You couldn't even come close to doing any of those things as a non-Jedi. Not to mention the coolness of lightsabers and force lightning.
Future players may get to start the game as force-sensitive (which I think it's actually for the best) but they'll never know the Jedi profession as it was pre-NGE, and it's a shame they won't. Having said that, I look forward to playing with all present and future Jedi, and in doing so in equal terms.

The grind was not in vain, I never had more fun in SWG than I did as a full-template Jedi, every minute of that 3-week grind was totally worth it.
Oh, and btw, I'm happy to know that you are leaving the game.

The removal of forced pvp is a huge victory, I may not like other things about the new game enhancements, but on this point they are absolutely doing the right thing.

what ever you guys have to keep telling yourself....bh lost more than the jedi did. at least now most jedi can have fun in the gcw and frs while you guys will be doing mindless seek and destroy missions....you lost 250k instant wins, you lost more offensive power than jedi because jedi's were already gimped below bh, and you lost your enjoyment of making other little paddies loose xp. did jedi loose their uberness, no, we lost that at the first cu...at least now we will be stronger than you mainly because of the gained vet robes and will no consequences in meeting you anywhere......will be seeing you on the battlefield.....
