Thread: Combat Balance Delayed

I know most of you have heard that the devs have pushed the combat revamp back and it will not come out in publish 8. I also know that many bounty hunters were looking forward to this patch becausewe give up almost all of our skill points and still get our asses whooped in pvp. I made this thread because I wanna know howsome of you bounty hunters feel about the combat balance being delayed.

that's nice to know, im goin to spend a lot more time on my alt now with rifleman til they start fixin things around here

First I read it, I passed coffee up my nose.
Then I relaxed, and finally came to the conclusion that they will never even BEGIN to fix this game. Let's face it, a dozen monkeys wearing tutus and smoking cigars could do better.
It will be more than a year before the combat pass comes, since release. And that's no guarantee they will address us 'overpowered' Bounty Hunters. I won't be around. It's just not worth it payinggood money to becrapped on by morons.

The incompetance of this company astounds me. They started with too many professions off the bat, and now the whole damn game is off kilter. I don't want to quit because I like the concept, but BH just isn't fun to play as master. I might go carbineer and keep 3-0-4-0 BH so I cna still hunt Jedi... not that hunting Jedi gets me anywhere.

Vert, as he is asking for things that can be done to get some profession fixes in before the balance, please see what they can do about putting us back in balance until the balance actually happens.
It will literally be a year that we have been balanced when no one else has and this is tremendously unfair to us. We need a concession.

Here's what they can do:
Unnerf GSPs, Grand Wrix, BDQs, and the Maulers. NOW.
Restore light armor to all creatures that lost them. NOW.

I have already been in communication withTH about that. I culled a mess of ideas from the "Making CH Competitive" thread, compared them with the combat-related items on our Issue/Request list, and presenteda listto him. The whole Embolden/Enrage idea struck me while I was doing that, so I thought I'd get some feedback from you guys on how viable that might be as an addition.
I understand that there's going to be a lot of frustration, but let's work together to use these "pre-CB" changes to get ourselves into as good a shape as possible. If there's anything constructive that's not already in the "Making CH Competitive" thread, please bring it to the table as soon as possible.

You will have to pardon me if I don't offer anything constructive at the moment. I am very upset over this and considering if I really want to bother waiting any more. My heart is not in it and I am afraid it might never be to avoid any more disappointment.
I wish words could explain how bummed I am right now.

There is one thing that they could do for us between now and the rebalance that would help greatly to bring us back in line with the other professions.
In our Master Block change the "Max Number of pet leves to +40" instead of +10.
This would give use two lv.50 pets out in the game at once.

This should be EASY for them to change and would not require them to re-adjust all the pet stats in the game.
After the rebalance they could just change it back to +10.

OH, good idea. Move up pets to level 100 and bring on babies..that might help us a bunch. Otherwise I'm like many others, so bummed

Starting to have a feeling this delay killed the game.
Seen alot of elders already cancelling accounts.
