Just a heads up. Jedi with cloak are now all in a big rush to regrind their templates because they are getting the snare nerf.


Lots of new targets trying to re-grind before the next pub.


Now is the time to work hard with your BHs and if it hasnt started yet on your server it very soon will.

Finally some who were regulare RUN - CLOAKers you can now again hunt and over time be able to kill.

Yep, even more FOTM now that devs removed yet another variation of skillsets. Why, oh why bother trying to be different at all. For BH it's add CM, for Jedi apparently the devs want them all to be mls/mdef...

Sorry to burst your bubble, but:

a) Nothing specific is known about the changes to Force Cloak - only general statements for the invisibility system for rangers, riflemen and Jedi were made, explicitely allowing exceptions to those rules when needed.

b) Even if the whole invisibility system gets applied to Force Cloak (including the snare), there is nothing that prevents a Jedi from running and cloaking. The snare will only be in effect after the Jedi cloaked, at which point he already escaped.

c) Those who had Cloak to use it as an escape skill exclusively and regrind their template now without even knowing for sure what will happen to Force Cloak are grinding to Master Enhancer more than likely. If you saw the +Cloak+ before you will now see a Jedi taking off at incredible speeds after he put you in Stasis.

I couldnt care less what you think and I dont care if cloak is being nerfed or not. I personaly think they should remove Jedi and Bounty Hunter from the game completely, take out PvP, and name it StarTrek or since PvP went to crap call it SIMs with Sabers now.


My point is, a lot of cloakers are regrinding on my server, and this is a heads up to those who care, not you personaly. In fact, you dont matter to me at all.

while none of the changes to force cloak are confirmed - that doesn't change the fact that many jedi ARE changing thier templates because of what they think might happen. The OP is 100% correct: Jedi are regrinding thier templates which means more easy targets. Period. who cares if the reason isn't correct - it doesn't change the situation...

I see the (L33T PWN L33) kiddies came to add their little bit. Thanks. I appreciate the free bump to the thread. I would assume you are playing a jedi and just pissed off that someone drew attention to the cloak situation and cloaker regrind going on?
