Thread: No Luck hunting Jedi...help from the vets please.
I've ehard people say it IS possible to take on full temps. Well...full temps whipe the damned floor with me.
I use a sliced Proton Carbine (Illegal Core Booster, lowest Speed, lowest Critical)
Battle Armor (6k all around). one Ranged cyber arm. (+5 accuracy and range) Food: Booster Blue, Piketta Pie, Spiced Tea, Deuterium-Pyro, Rubilien (sp, for cycling stims).
I lead in with KD, then snare. I do my best to kite, and try to blind them and such. I usually stick to leg and critical shots for max damage, but no matter how well I do, they heal, root me, and it becomes just a matter of them dealing damage faster than I can heal it away. Once they give me that first root, I can't seem to get away from them again with being Kded or rooted. Any advice is helpful
Last question. Can armor be UNSLICED, to get the components back? I don't want to put all those nice components into this armor if I'm just going to buy a nice new set with that 8k resistance. (Can battle armors even get energy resistance that high?)
Sorry for the relatively sparatic questions...thanks for your patience.
You do not get sliced parts back so they will be gone once you use them.730k is high yes but I pay 1m and sometimes 2 so it could be worse. And no battle cant hit 8k to my knowledge..7 yes but not 8.
For your gun just get something with a solid range of damage like 600min 1050max. You can go higher on the max damage but that will get more expensive as you go.So staying around a 1000 damage and keeping the min up too will keep your overall damage up.Your gun is really your bread and butter so this is where you should really take teh time to know what your getting and how well it will do.Energy versus kinetic is important to keep in mind too when you evaluate your wep.
I'm not sure if battle armor can get that high... But I know Recon armor can. See if you can find a set of Ubese armor... I also like recon better because it doesn't slow your movement...
I'm not sure about your weapon but from what I hear proton carbines are pretty good... What damage and special action cost does it have?
I'm not qualified whatsoever for recon armor though, so I need to stick with my battle.
Min damage is what you want to concern yourself with
I think RIS armor can get high stats, but I don't have any yet so I'm not sure. Factional armor maybe? Dont have any of that either...
If you follow these two rules and drop the mission whenever you can not engage with these parameters, you will achieve success . There is nothing wrong in doing this. This is the BH way and Jedi's are 1.5 stronger for this reason.

Patience and practice will help you prevail.
Every template can be a contender if played correctly. Some hunters have no medic skills whatsoever, and can still get the job done.
Like the above poster stated, they are made to be stronger than you. They can dish out damage better, heal better, move faster, and disappear when they want (some of them anyway). The one and only advantage we have is we decide when and where the fight will take place. Use it.

Well, I must point out a few corrections.
#1 Jedi cannot dish out more damage, unless you are a pre-cu Jedi with an excellent LS
#2 Jedi cannot out heal, I haven't been able to heal as fast as some of the MBH/CMs that have tried taking me down
#3 1.5x stronger is open to debate, it mostly comes down to skill

2. Only engage if the Jedi, in addition to being completely surprised, is not buffed or his force is down, or he is engaed by MOBS or creatures. Even if you achieve utter surprise like #1 above but the jedi is not in a tough spot (in other words he is buffed and not distracted or engaged by other PvE activities) you can still lose dramatically even if you cause massive damage before reaction, so DON'T engage and follow this rule.

Was wondering how would we know if their force is down?
If you follow them around for a few lairs to make sure of it, like any SENSIBLE BH* would do![]()
