The NPC probably had cloak.

That's a first. I've had the corpses disappear, but never in the middle of the fight.

I have seen this a few times, but not with bounty marks, just random spawns and mission spawnsthat just disappear in the middle of the fight.

Sometimes It was probably lag-related but most of the times it was just spontaneous.

And I might add that it's annoying as hell.

I had it happen once when my mark was swimming. I didn't even get the mission incomplete, he just disappeared.

This happened to me earlier today.. i launched 3 more seeker droids to make sure it wasn't me, and i was in the right location... The mark disappeared on me, but the droids were saying i was right by it... i even circled to try and find him and no go at all...

I'm glad i'm not the only one who had this problem.. and i hope its not something that will continue often..

I had this happen yesterday in the area south of the Lake Retreat on Naboo. A minute or two after I gave up on him I started on a giant peko peko albatross. Got it down to about 3% of it's health, it did a retreat and despawned. Weird stuff. No loot from either, obviously.

I dont know if they are doing anything about it, but I had it happen to me once on endor. First the NPC spawned inside a tree, but I managed to get it out by an area attack. So then starting fighting it, I got it to about 1/3 health left, did an underhand shot and was about to go for an adv. critical when it disapeared. Tracker droid then updated about a second later saying it was still in the same spot. I was kinda suprised something like this would happen in a retail game so drove around to see if that would get it to respawn or if for some reason the NPC ran away without me seeing it. No dice. So I bugged it and droped the mission.

yea, happened to me too. had it down to about 1/3 ham and poof. i get "invalid target" and no mark in sight..

i even traveld off planet, came back an hour later, sent up seaker and it was still WPing the same exact spot, so i dropped the mission.

Already happened to me....

My ennemy was there.... i was 65m away from him, covered and ready to shoot conceal shot
There was a bunch of stormtroopers a few meters away from him....

I hit with conceal shot
I hit with conceal shot
I hit with conceal shot
I prepare sniper shot..... you lost your target...

It seems there was a nasty vortex that landed there because i suddenly saw the ground beeing a little leveled and all but one stromtrooper disapeared into dev/null


That is the odds of BH missions : you never know if you will complete your mission in the randomness of this word until the mark is dead.

Had this happen a lot on non bh missions, sometimes the target would respawn with a bit of running around sometimes it wouldnt.

Well i just had it happen AGAIN! This time on a boss mark. had him a little over half way then he pulled the Hoodenie *POOF*
