When combined with the fact that you guys have the 'Alpha Strike' capability, this basically means you can incap the Jedi before he even knows he's in combat. Sort of a one shot kill deal, but not really because we all know that those went away with the CU.
But seriously,besides general pre-cautionary measures like watching whats around you, and not staying one place too long, does anyone have any rational suggestions on how to deal with this emerging threat? Spice can give you a little boost in health, but if you are waiting somewhere they can just time it to hit you when that drops.
Eating food can only go for so long before you get full, and if you are constantly eating food, then you won't be able to take the right foods at the right times.
PSG would definitely be helpful, but only if its an energy rifle you are getting sniped with.
If anyone has any actual suggestions, I'd love to hear them.
BTW plz don't be dumb and say 'don't get vis' because we all know thats not going to happen. I got nothing against fighting BHs, I just don't want to be dead before I know I am fighting one.

Why don't you post this request in the Jedi forum because honestly EVEN IF I knew of a good strat for you I wouldn't share it.
Besides you should know just wait a few days/weeks and SL will get the eventual nerf it's just around the corner.
In the meantime post this in a more appropriate forum where you're less likely to get flamed IMHO.
You realize that most of the screenshots coming out are shrewd. All of them have beenin a control environment and usually heavily in favor of the MSL. Why? To cause hysteria so the Devs will change/nerf the SL's.
There were screenshots circulating with a MSL shooting a low level character who happens to not wear any armor. I have yet to see one screenshot where a Jedi with some sort of defense was shotby a MBH/SL. From what I understand some MSL buffs still affect people even with BH TEF, but others dont. In duels those other buffs mayaffect thedamage output making it higher then normal.
Ok, seeing as my previous answer would stop you showing off your saber in theed, which you obviously dont want to do, why not try this:
Keep the radar up at all times as you should be doing, if you see anybody approaching when youre in the wilds then take some of that cool incap recovery food, i forget the name, you will probably get up almost instantly, meanwhile mr BH will be the max range away, probably prone if he's done a snipershot. If you're up fast enough then with your template you should be able to force run 3 out of range pretty fast, then just keep an eye out until youre safe.
Id imagine this templates alpha strike would take quite a while to set up: SL buff, prone, aim, snipershot. If you keep your combat logs open you should be able to spot him when his aim text is stamped in them, giving you plenty of time to run.
Beeing MDef I rarely get hit by MRifle/MBH - but yet to encounter one with squadleader (the extra 150+ accuracy might cause my template some hassles though).
The above 'tactic' is a general rule for anything that hurts. If all else fails, knock him down, root him again and FR2, its not fair if they hit for that much damage mate, no point standing there to die.

"Stay off the terms" does not translate to "Sit locked away in your house so you dont gain vis" it means go out in the middle of nowhere and kill creatures.

The fact is. SL can be strong, but the people that are dying in one hit pretty much would die to an alpha-strike riflemen before this publish. If you can defend against MBH/Mriflemen pre-publish24 then you should be able to defend against MSL.
Really there isnt enough information yet. I would give it a week or two before you start to panic. The screenshots out there at this time are pretty much all rubbish.
