Hello,
I'm currently a Master Smuggler working on Pistoleer I have 1-2-1-3 in Pistoleer atm, and was wondering which line I should work on, first, I have 500,000 pistol xp now and plan to train something when I get home from work tonight, I have considered 2-2-2-3 and 1-3-1-3. I only PvE at this time, and am looking for the best path to aid in leveling as fast as possible.
On a side note, when will I be able to use the Sonic Blaster?
Thanks for any advice you may provide.

I agree with MCPrimetime. You will lvl 3 times as fast with Fanshot.

The usefulness of fansht is overrated IMO especially for people without defenses. You have very little defense and everything you shoot with fanshot will chase you down until one of you is dead. I have heard of people getting millions of xp in hours shooting fanshot at things which are fighting each other, such as doing U-turns on dath until rancors fight nightsisters. But this all depends if fanshot will hit things which are not attacking you. it NEVER hits things which are not attacking ME. You cannot stand and hit them either because they will not be within your fan-cone, especially if they're melee they will surround you and you'll only hit one at a time.So evenif you do have defenses for this, you have to run around in circles trying to keep the group youre shooting at huddled together within your cone, and even then sometimes, for me, it fails to hit multiple targets. In theory, if all goes unglitched, fanshot allows you to take down groups instead of single enemies if you can survive being pummeled while they chase you. I advise agianst trying this first though. You already have good specials to use in dirty fighting, why not get accuracy first?

i agree, as you can see in my sig the template i am going up in pistoleer. i mainly use my dirty fighting specials, so i wish i would have gone the accuracy route first. so my advice to you is get all the accuracy bonus first then get the specials.

well i did pistoler and the only really good thihg about it is the PVP, but thats only good if u get the bh pistol tree and a REALLY nice geo like mine
typicly that would be like 1.5-2.0 150-200-280s or so. but if your in for the fast getting there path go for the 1st tkm 1 lol thats guarneteed but pistoler is also nice,(get novie medic to use stim b's)

If you're not gonna PvP, then commando, novice medic and a bunch of scout works. And leaves you with points for FS stuf. I enjoyed MCommando with a little SL and scout thrown in, but novice medic really is a must and those 15 points combined with the unarmed 4 skill pt sink just drains the template. Most PvP commandos (the few I've seen) are TKMs.

Go TK 4310 (for KD, dizzy and meditation, melee mitigation II and posture/state defenses), pistoleer 0040 (for defenses) medic 0040 (to use 1100 power meduse 40 stim E's)
forget about pistols with 0044 pistoleer as you'll only have +55 accuracy..
and a geo should be over 500 max to use in pvp imo.... (I was M pistoleer/TKM/M smugglerbefore)

I don't PvP and :
Commando (going for master)
CH - Pack Master
Novic Medic
Nice to pack a FT and a pet. Like packing your own personal tank.

Morning
Trying to decide on template. At present invest 3, bh pistols2, TKM, is it worth taking bhpistols 3 & 4 without any pistoleer? Looking to MBH at some point.
Any advice appriciated
