From a jedi's standpoint and what iv experienced...
Food:
Pikitia Pie/Varerbok(Not getting hit = more health for you, less action and force for them)
Crispic (accuracy)
Canape (regen)
Brandy (regen)
Mandolorian Whine (Regen)
Booster Blue (Health, Action Regen, Mind Regen)
(Cant think of the name) - Food that increases your melee def
Synthasteak (Damage reduction)
Armor: Ubese, high energy
Weapon: Thats your call, if it were me. Id use a pistol w/ low sac, high damage. Mabey a FW5. But if you cant get a high damage, you can still be very efficient, it will just take a little bit longer as you have to make the jedi heal to run him low. But the pup and base slices from a smuggler will always help boost damage.
PUP: 30% damage, 15% speed - Thinks thats the max stats, been forever since i used one
Tactic: Only way to beat us is to run us out of mind, study us, and hit us when it will hurt us most. Iv had a bh hit me as soon as I took down a DJM and had no force left, so he persay for a free DB. Make sure you save your roots/snares/kd's till the end in case the jedi tries to make a run for it. One thing i had one BH do to me was catch me on dath fighting a few ns's, with a ton spawned around me. He used a dath camo kit so the wouldnt aggro him, and drug me thru them! Just think abou it ![]()
As MCM, state them with everything you can. Just be carefull while doing it. Iv caught MCM's in positions where they couldnt heal b/c of cooldowns. They were too worried about stating me as fast as possible.
I know most of these things cant be stacked, but this is some stuff I use against bh's when im attacked, and I have noticed they use some of the same things. I just eat what I have out of the crates at the time. Im posting this b/c I saw no help from your profession members, and im not about bh's getting destroyed... Unless they are fighting me of corse
Good luck

What armor should I wear? - 8000+ Energy Resist Armor with a PSG over 2000 Energy
What weapons should I carry? MBH/MCM use pistols-rifles or carbs? - MBH can use Get yourself a good Scatter, over 950dmg low sac, a good advanced laser rifle, over 1000 dmg, and if you like a laser carbine (but not neccisary). You can also get the "free" proton carbine at the Ryyatt Trail, simply run the quests to receive it.
What PUPs? - Get all your weapons with sliced max damage and speed. If you buy the right ones SAC is not an issue for you. I would recommend max damage PUPs if you don't have speed skill tapes, general ranged speed, etc.

I think he wasn't helped because this is a FOTW week template, involves no skill, only healing. This template can't kill a Jedi outright. It's a long fight with the BH in a healing loop while the Jedi expends force/mind. When the Jedi is dry he can either stay and fight it out and die, or run and live another day.
Personally, I think it's an affront to the BH community.
He has a hard template to fight. And who cares about this so called FOTM. Its hit skill points, his character. If he wants to beat a jedi, he has it right.
When I wrote that, I didn't really take the MCM thing into it. He can also use his nasty states, etc to get the health down, while pounding with the pistols, adv rifle, proton carbine, or high cap scatter.
The name of the game is damage. Most jedi will be stacked against energy since most BH's are ranged and have high dmg energy weapons and other jedi dmg is energy as well. I find that I am HIGHLY effective with my high cap scatter at close range. With PUPs it's up over 1100 dmg, and they don't expect it.

Few things i noticed from above... PSG's, they only work for ranged attacks. And would only be worth having if you were fighting a jedi like me. When a rifleman/bh roots me from 65m. ill pull a rifle and shoot back. But for most, that adrenalin rush is too much to keep them from thinking clearly.
As the other I noticed, you mentioned jedi stacking against energy damage. We have resists to everything via defender, master has 60%? resists to every damage type, so worrying about that isnt too big of a deal. And we only deal energy, well frankly b/c thats all we can do /shrug

That's great! I dind't mention booster, or at least I didn't mean to. But that's what this is for. To share information. I'm a ranged BH, I don't have a need to heal because either I knock the jedi out in under a few minutes or it's over. I don't mind losing. But I do mind losing and getting "you suck noob/respec, blah blah blah) I'm good, but I wouldn't consider myself the best by any means. I have what I have, and trying to adjust it on a weekly/nightly basis. However, I will NEVER get CM or any other healing lines because I just don't prefer that play style. I don't think it's "fun" to wind a jedi out of force for 20-30 minutes while doing no damage.
I duel these master docs/cm's all the time and win. They are the best healers in the game, and yet I still beat them with a stim d every 30 seconds. Most of my fights are over in less than a minute so at maximum, I'll only heal once possiblly twice. With my skills/mods/weapons I can unleash over 3000 dmg in under 10 seconds while the target is recovering from a KD. It's only a matter of time before they make a healing mistake and I have them. Typically this is the 1/2 health mark. If/when I gettehm down to 1/2 health andland a KD, the fight is over. They won't be standing up again.
