Bio Engineer Archive

I love everything I have seen about the changes to this profession. One question still eludes me though... why can't a Bio-Engineer make any flying type creatures?I know I have come across at least 3 different models in game yet no flyers can be genetically constructed. So I guess my question is "What is the current status of giving Bio-Engineers flying models to put DNA in?" I know this is not the first time this question was raised but for the life of me I could not find it.

Fliers and snakes...fliers and snakes. Those are the two major types of critter we don't have templates for. There's the reptillian sort of flier, and butterfly types. I'd rather have one (or both) of those rather than three bloody types of bunny rabbit.

I say this, and the three most common skins I use when I play with are squall, vir vur and kima. But I want to make a butterfly that stings like a bee!

Awww, but the Durnis, Squalls and Vir Vur are so cute... Thanks for your quick response, I knew I wasn't the only one who wanted one . Though I would like to have a blue reptilian flier with ranged attacks... that would just be neat.
