has anyone made a pet under cl 40 that has light armor and does anyone know what controls it haveing armor.also any trick to getting specials to show up..on kimo's they dont show up and cant train them

Yes I have a cl38 Hermit Spider Warrior made from Arachne warrior samples. Same armor/rezs/specials as an arachne warrior.

I made about 10 pets with armor under CL 40. The best one is 60% kinetic. I'm shooting for level 35 with 55-60% kinetic and suceeded 3 times with 55% kinetic.

I've yet to get 60% kinetic on anything under level 39.

Just made a Gurrcat before they took the servers down

Level: 28

Mind: 5973

Armor Rating: Light

Kinetic Resistance: 60

Heat: 26

Acid: 39

all others vulnerable

Damage 390-400

Special 1:Strong Poison

Special 2: Blinding Strike

Ranged: NO!!

I'm tempted to sample him to see if I can go lower =) Next time I'll put a couple more points in mind

Unless you're going to tell us what you used to get armor on low CL critters, you're not helping us much, just bragging. Remember what DNA you used? How many slots had armor in them? Which slots those were?

Hmm.... I made a Huurton all out of Thune Herd Leader DNA (Light armor 45% kinetic) and it turned out CL 28 with the same resists but no armor. I'd be interested to know if it's random wether it has armor or not or if something else is a factor. I'm only at cloning 1 and DNA sampling 3 so I don't have much experementation or +assembly mods so that may have something to do with it.

That is an awesome cat there Yewrev. Level 28, light armor, 60% Resist and average 8k Ham... if you can get it down to level 23 I'll take three . Seriously that is quite impressive care to share the secret of your success?

Again: To get light armor, experiment in Physical. I /assume/ you have to have a host DNA sample there with light armor, but maybe you can experiment in Physical and get it anyway.

Ohh, I likes the Dewback, WTS... and he can be used as a mount... very nice.
