Thread: Need specific recipe
My biggest question is: Which slots will bring desired features of DNA like light armor, specials, and ranged attack.
I was wondering if anyone had made a pet with light armor, 50%+ kinetic, ranged strong poison and strong disease, and 400+ DMG. This will confirm my theory that a such creature is possible to be easily made with specific samples and correct sample placement.

MDH in agression and psychology will give you strong poison and strong disease.
If you use a VHQ (or sometimes a HQ) DNA sample in the mental slot you usually end up with ranged attack.
for armor you need fortitude over 500 and physique has the largest influence on that (40%).
I would like to know if fortituide has to be over 500 on the samples or the final DNA template- I have successfully bleed thru light armor after hitting fortitude of 300's in experiment. However, I have been getting kinetic between 2 to 60 when I did the experiment.
I believe it depends strongly on which sample you use, if you use sample that contains 50% kin and light armor in both physique and prowess- you will eventually get up to50% kin and light armors but if using lower kin samples in 3 other slots, the pre-experiment template will results in lower kinetic.
So far, my lucks with light armor has been great- I could throw in several endor samples such as archane webmaster, merek harvester, merek death's head, and roba boar- BAM, some nice resistance stat on final template with light armor.
ack, damn button ><

Why would you go through so much trouble for a pet that wont even work? SP/SD specials are broken currently (can we get a Pet FAFAQ or something?),
Strong poison and strong disease special isn't broke, they won't work in conjunction of each other. I guess the pets with both special are somewhat stubborn or bugged. It's all up to dev to correctize the problem, they have fixed mount and special before so we'll see those special work someday eventually.
I know it's pretty useless in PvP but as for PvE, my narglatches (light armor, 30-40 kin, SP/SD ranged) could tank forever without getting any stratches, which goes long way to prove that even with small ticks- it'll add up damage over the time of combat therefore reducing the fight time.
My next pet I'll be attempting to create- light armor, 60 kin/100 stun, ranged Knockdown/Dizzy strike, and 300-500ish DMG. This type of pet should be great for PvP.
