OK. I made a pet that came out with a difficulty level of 10... ie Level 10 pet. It was one of the cats but at this second I do not remember which. I think it was a Gurrcat.

It had 4K/3.9K/2.5K HAM, Next to NO Resists and did a whopping 40 - 50 damage. It did have a Mild Poison attack.

The Guildmate I gave the pet to tames it for use and when he tried to call it for the first time he was given the fateful message... "Adjust level or stats". We chose stats and the end pet came out with... get this... 450/450/450 HAM, ZERO Resists.... but retained the Mild Poison and his damage was BOOSTED up to 70 - 80 range!

I mean, What the heck is the use of a pet like this? 450 HAM won't stand up to a Gnort let alone anything bigger.

So I have this to suggest to the Developers. Since you steadfastly RE$FUS to give us any guide4lines on this matter and you absolutloy reject any notion of fairness in dealing with pet strength... why not just quit messing around with it and ELIMINATE THE ABILITY TO USE A PET WITH NO CH EXPERIENCE!!

God. I cannot understand their thinking sometimes! THAT is the most frustrating part of this game!!!!

The pet checks catch low level CH pets too, not just non-ch, I@ve had pets as high as 16-20 get 'adjusted'

Never ever do the adjust stats thing, it will give the stats of an average wild pet of that level unfortunately.

Kel is working on the problem and I hope to have something I can tell you later today - its not a fix or anything but it might give some of you some hope....

I have successfully made lvl 10 pet with 8/5/2.5 HAM with ranged imditation, 130 dmg, and 50% kinetic. It was perfectly callable without any message saying invalid stat. I think you would need a MCH to tame it first before giving to non-ch. I think it is some kind of bugs or other nerf by "Nerf Herders," as dev are called by people on intrepid.

Zadokk (before he actually quit BE) got his pets down to CL5 with high kinetic resists.

He truly deserves the 'BE Frankenstein' title

Well, As a younger player I only WISHED I had encountered Gurrcars with HAMS in the 450's.

I think the entire system is so borked that they just need to eliminate Non CH pets entirely! Then it won;t be a problem!

I think the whole point that they don't want non-ch's to be able to control a pet that would give them abilities comparable to a CH. What's the point of training CH if a non-chcan get a 5k ham high resist pet to tank for them? Basically non-ch should have low level pets to mess with and mounts, but not to use for combat.

Heck Yeah!
