Hello everyone. Just made novice BE last night and was pumped as all hell. Messed around outside of Theed and sampled some chuba's, fawned rawls, and a capper spineflap. Combined that DNA template with some leftover grinding wheat, bone, and meat and got...a 65 HAM Kaadu lol. Ive done my fair share of profesions but BE has always been one I wanted to try. There is still a ton of stuff I dont quite understand as of yet, but Im sure that in time it will all sink in.

Just made my first real pet (not house decoration heh) and I wondered if I could get an opinion on it. It was supposed to be CL10 - but I pushed a little too far and it came out 13 but I'd really like to know what you think of him

Also do you think he's worth trying to sell - if so how much should I sell him for (on farstar)

That's not a bad pet for a first one...to bad the energy resist was at 23%...If it was around 10 or zero it would of been CL10 and then you could of sold it for a lot more then now. I'd say maybe close to 20k to a novice CH that is starting out.

Also, most people prefer a cat like skin because they run the fastest. I use gurrcats for Non-ch and gurrecks for CH. I also keep a couple DNA templates stashed away incase someone asks for a custom skin.

I started playing this game roughly 3 months ago. While browsing the bazaar in my second week I came upon a Gurrcat, lvl 8. Being a cat lover in RL I decided to purchase this cat. We went everywhere together and eventually I picked up Novice Creature Handler. We fought everything together, both dying regulary. One day I met up with a nice CH in Anchorhead and asked him to name my pet. He obliged and gave him other commands too, which I was eternally greatful for.

Ted as he became known, was a great pet, albeit not very strong. As I progressed up the levels of CH I found I no longer used Ted and felt it was time to let him go. The day came when I was ready to let him go and I just popped into Coronet to drop off some metal for a client. I then got a tell from someone asking if I knew where to get a low level pet. I looked at Ted and he looked at me (not really but you know). I sent a tell back saying I have a pet they can have.

Time came for me and Ted to seperate and I gave him a metaphorical hug and passed him to his new owner, who was delighted. I have no idea where Ted is now, maybe he's been released, maybe he's still with the person I passed him on to. But I'm happy to say we had a great time together, even if it's just a model in a game

It always feels good to pass on a pet rather then releasing them... You just hope that Creature Handler does it to

hehe, you're braver than I am...I still have all my old babies, some of the middle ones change regularly, but my Bronx is over a year old now, and my tuskies and wild narglatches will be sometime in September...

This made me LAUGH so hard, not at you but at myself. I too have taken up the CH profession and gave away my Beloved Gurrcat Lvl 10 to a worthy Person. She was a great pet to have we did everything. The part that mad me laugh is that you had a Picture of you and your pet. I wish I had a picture of me and Ginger, Oh well I really Liked you post.

People who haven't used a pet for an extended period just don't realize how hard it is to give up these digital companions. I still carry my cu pa, Sandy, although I ride my wasteland cu pa now. I only wish data pad space wasn't quite so precious.
