Thread: Off-subject question...was bored

For the first time, I thought I would like to do one of these "Theme Park/POI" thingies thatmany have raved about. I started doing the "Emperor's Retreat" missions but, is there some order to do this in to complete or do you just keep running missions until you get to see the big guy or what? I guess it's different content so I do enjoy it but, what's the catch? Am I supposed to get a badge for doing all this or some reward or is this just to burn some time and play? I'm really in the dark on this one.
Oh and another thing........The 3rd 'Inquisitor" Mission.....were one is supposed to arrest the Slicer and return him to the Emperor's Retreat.....the Slicer never would come peacefully. I let him beat on me for 30 minutes....twice....lol. I'm not sure what I should do......I sent in a bug report with the details for the mission.
Basically, let me know if I am on the right path by doing all these missions for a reward and if the 3rd "Inquisitor" mission is bugged?
I'm a Master BE and played for a long time but, I have not pursued any of these so called POI badges or theme parks. It sounded like fun so, I am doing it. Thanks for the info.

My boyfriend tells me that you need to /conversation them from like 70m cos they're thug factioned.

and yes, you do just keep running the missions until you get to the big guy.

Basically, in the Emperor's retreat missions, try to "converse" with your mark on each mission, and if you can't, kill them, lol.
One thing you need to be really careful of when doing these missions is griefing. I do the themeparks in small chunks, and hour or two here and hour or two there, and I've done it with several different toons now. And seriously, about half the times I've gone there I've run into griefers. You know the type: little punk kid, buffed, composite, FOTM defense stacking template with all the latest gear sits out there waiting for people to get a TEF and then kills them almost instantly and barks atthem as he does, telling you how lame you are. Typical Bartlett "killer".

you can also type /conv for short...
and you can hit peace twice to get in peace status, run away until he gives up, then hit enter on your /conv... unfortunately you have to be fairly close to do this.
I don't know about the imp one, but I am pretty sure I got JACK from Luke when I fishished the Reb theme park, good thing I stole all those Cages from him first.
If you aren't already there, doing this will get you one step closer to the village... type /check in game for details.

Thanks Arthur.
I'll make sure and keep an eye out for these kinds of players. Going to the clone center is no fun especially under those circumstances. I'm mean really....if it isn't a Mutant Rancor sending me there then I really wouldn't know how to handle it.....lol.
