Just a warning since I know many of you visit swgcreatures.com from this forum. Within the last week whatever advertisement provider is being used on that site is running ads that attempt to install spyware on your computer. Blocking pop ups and having good spyware software helps. Site admin recognizes this a problem and is working on it, but again today it installed software on my PC without approval.

If you think you might have spyware then there are programs that can remove them safely and efficently. Both of which I personally use on a regular basis:
Ad-aware: ftp://ftp.download.com/pub/win95/utilities/aawsepersonal.exe(homepage: www.lavasoft.de)
Spybot S&D: ftp://ftp.download.com/pub/win95/utilities/spybotsd13.exe(homepage: http://spybot.safer-networking.de/en/index.html)
These work on all modern windows systems.

Alternatively you can switch to the free next generation web browser Mozilla Firefox - it automatically blocks spyware and pop-ups so you can browse in peace. I honest cant recommend it highly enough. Its faster at loading pages than IE and has a host of excellent features.

I apologize if this is indeed something being generated from ads on the site. I have recently changed ad providers and have had a couple of issues. I will continue to try to figure out exactly what's going on here as I definately don't want to be the source of anyone's frustrations =x

Yep, got it installed on my laptop over the weekend. I'm actually going to end up just wiping the harddrive and reloading windows. I guess I'll be a little more careful next time I click on windows.
Its actually not the spyware that I really care that much about. While it may be annoying that a site is trying to figure out where I am going, I think the much more annoying part is the adware parts that pop up ads all the time. Easily 3-5 a minute on most programs I've seen. Its pathetic when it becomes easier to kill the explorer application and restart it rather than close all the popups.

Sorry I gotta vote for Firefox, some of the extensions(Web Dev) are pretty fantastic.
ALSO
Turn off third party cookies(block)
That will stop most of the spyware from ads on sites.

But you get far more bang for your buck with Firefox, because it's free. I just with the computers at work would let me install Firefox there as well.

To the credit of the individual who runs swgcreatures.com it appears that the rouge advertisment is no longer appearing on their website. Thanks!!
