Im thinking about going with BE but I wanted to know what eles would be good to go with it to make money. I was thinking of master tailor master be and master cheif but I dont like the idea of not being able to harvest. What would you go to make alot of credits with BE?

it all depends on what u want to do, ur style of play. find what u like to, what makes the game fun and im sure u will find a way to make money. i really find it hard to believe that the most weathy ppl in SWG are really happy at what they do.

Well I was just gonna use this as a second toon to make money for both. But I think the funniest BE temp would be BE/Ranger/Rifleman. But I already have a fun temp on my main so im really just looking for a good somewhat easie way to make credits. I was also thinking about going with armorsmith and weponsmith but that would take alot of credits just to make the uber stuff anyway. I also thought about BE/DE but was'nt sure how well BE pets sell and how well droids sell. Id like to make at least 2 million a week or so.

You don't have anywhere near enough skill points for MBE/MT/MC plus you would have 0 vendor skills. I would consider:
Master BE
Master Chef
Merchant 0003
Artisan 0442
Medic 0004
Scout 0040
However, this would leave you without mask scent and anything other than a survival knife to defend yourself with. Tbh you should have a MBE/MChef if you have an alt / guildthat can supply you with enough meat. Also without the mask scent ability you will struggle to create decent pets. If you want to create pets then I would advice mixing MBE with a combat profession or Creature Handler.

Personally I'd go with tailor, not as much money as chef but a lot less hassle.

Sure you would have enough for master cheif master be and master tailor unless any of them take more then just artisan to use. I do think BE needs some scout skills but im pretty sure its only 1 tree. In wich I would not be able to master 1 of the skills by 2 trees becouse scout would take 15 points itself to pick up. master a skill takes 63 points other then basic they take 71 becouse of the 15 points it takes to pick up a profession. So if be does take scout skills no I would'nt have but if it dont then ya its np. But anyway thats not really important do BE's really make any money? Or do they just keep all the pets they get DNA's for? What do the common pets sell for? What do the rare pets sell for? I know a demand is in from BE food add's so im sure I could make a few 100k selling these alone. Just trying to find the best way to make great credits. Other then buying/selling trading/looting huting/harvesting.

Well if I dont take weponsmith and armorsmith my main can pick up merchant so that wont be a problem at all. Tailor does sound good and fun but really how much demand is in for clothing?

Easy credits? Try TK or Rifleman and go pick up the Mokk/Janta missions on Dantooine. You can earn up to a million credits in an average buff if you're efficient.
Want fun and interesting crafting with some profit? Try BE.
Better yet, try a profession because it's fun!
I couldn't be happier as a TKM/BE (plus novice marksman for ranged shots and artisan for survey). I can harvest my own meats, and survive on my own in the wild. Plus I get the fun of crafting cool, obscure critters and stuff that truly lives up to the interdependent professions vision of the game.
If I'm feeling broke or bored selling stuff, I go out and grind Mokks/Jantas for a couple 100K and am good to go.
My vote (not that you asked this question): Try to have fun.

My main is the hunter so im not looking for a combat money making profession already have one. Im looking for the store owner money making profession as a backup. I have decided that im going master weaponsmith, master armorsmith,Merchant 4/0/4/4,Architect 3/0/4/0. Pretty much everything people are looking for in the market other then looted items food and pets. I wanted to go with BE but dont have any clue what kinda demand is out for BE pets and have no clue what will happen to them with the expansion. They will always be needed but as far as making money with BE I think its already dropping. Prices on armor, weapons, and harvesters will always be high until no one plays anymore. So I guess ill just go with this build. Thanks for the help everyone.

Sounds like a wise decision given your goals. Good luck.

I would go for Tailor. So much less hassle.
With chef's there are so many things that you have to worry about. the resources are so much more stat dependant. a lot of time has to go into getting decent resources.
Tailor is so much less effort. Grab a mixture of chemicals and a few metals and off you go.
BE clothing won't sell as fast as the chef foods will but it will sell. as more people get to know you, your sales will go up. I found Tailor to be a nice relaxing profession without having to do much work. I would stock the vendor in the morning then play all day.
The Tailor tissues do need some harder than average resources to get but in general they aren't too hard to get. Herbivore / insect meat / eggs are the worst but they aren't too hard. you should have some fun with it when you get going.
