Hiya guys

First of all, sorry for asking these questions - I'm sure they've been asked and answered a thousand times before but I can't seem to find any answers.

I just finished leveling my chef and my bio-engineer is almost done. I'm completely new to both professions, so I have a couple of questions;

1) What is the fastest way to "grind" DNA-sampling xp? (I'm currently 4404 BE) -- My BE is also a rifleman if this info helps.

2) I mostly made my BE to provide additives for my chef, however, I'm unsure to the quality and type of additives I should be focusing on (I've tried searching around, but all i could find was inconsitant information). What type of additives do most chefs require (I imagine there are only 2 or 3)? What is considered a "good quality" additive that will make quality foods?

3) Is there much of a market for the other crafting products of BE's besides additives and tailoring components? Do the bio-engineered pets sell for a decent amount of money?

4) Is there any possible and practicle use my rifleman/BE can personally get out of any of the pets if I pick up novice CH?

Thanks in advance.

There is an afk macro in the FAQ if that's your sort of thing. I generally didnt use macros while grinding DNA, I just sampled low level stuff around Tatooine until I got to DNA3 then I went off to Dath and starting doing some surefoot brackasets. 532xp per sample and they are non-aggressive.

Incosistent?! Insult. I wrote a FAQ in the FAQ (strangely enough) not a fortnight ago - check it out. Anything missing and I will add it in.

3) Is there much of a market for the other crafting products of BE's besides additives and tailoring components? Do the bio-engineered pets sell for a decent amount of money?
Yes they can do, but if you're a chef then it's likely that you will spending a lot of your time getting meat for additives and food (that is if you don't buy it). Pet stims are a nice little earner if you can get a doctor friend to make the components for you for cheap. I used to trade herbivore meat for components, was a nice little trade.

4) Is there any possible and practicle use my rifleman/BE can personally get out of any of the pets if I pick up novice CH?
Oddly enough I used to be rifleman/BE/CH 0004 - this allowed me to create CL10 pets, train them and then sell them to people or give them to newbies around Anchorhead for free. They love free gifts, and plus it can be a nice business deal when they come to see you in a couple of weeks asking for CH pets

Thanks in advance.

The big money is tissues for Chefs and Tailors.

The fun money, once you're burned out on making tissues for chefs and tailors, is in making pets. You will make 1/10th of the money you make as a tissue specialist but, the challenge and fun factor are definitely amped up in this line of crafting.

My advice is to make your fortune in tissue sales then, later on...when you are filthy....have your funspecializing in clone creations. This has workerd for me...and it's definitely not for everyone.
