Thread: A BE Question.

I recently bought another account to have as a BE to compliment my Tailor/Chef, Thing I want to know is, does the quality of the resources matter much or is it like tailor where they dont matter at all, or is it like chef where all the resources have to be top notch? And are these resources usally easy to come by or not?

From what I remember, quality of the materials matters for tailor tissues just as it does for chef tissues.
The rule of thumb seems to be if you can experiment on something, then quality matters. Tailor items can't be experimented on (again, from what I remember) so materials don't matter.

You probably got one starred for asking a question that is answered in the FAQ. With all tissues that BEs can make the resource quality is not ALWAYS have to be top notch. For instance, you only need enhanced myoflex / active biosensors to be +13 on most occassions because you can double them up to make +25 and anything above it is a waste EXCEPT when making clothing like Paramilitary Camos where you can put tensile resistances in and active bios, meaning you want them as high as possible. The correct weightings for tissues is 50% OQ / 30% PE / 20% FL.
Tbh, now that I think about it you were probably one starred because you could have found this out for yourself in game through experimentation.

It could have also been the 'I'd rather pay real money for a second account than have to buy from a full-time BE' bit 
Or a combination of all the above reasons.

Touché. BE alts is what ruins the game for us normal BEs

First of all, I checked the FAQ, no help whatsoever, second I play on Bloodfin, PvP server, not alot of BEs on the server at all.Know more about the situation before you criticize. Oh, and this is my 5th account not second, and another thing, I would get ingame and do it if in fact I could play at home, I wouldnt ask question when I could find out myself. kthnxbye.

According the BE vendor list that Nancy made there are 7 BEs registered on Bloodfin which is actually quite a lot when compared to other server lists.

Not sure why this turned into such a loving and inviting thread, but I will go into the original question. Do resource stats matter to a BE making tailor/chef stuff? YES. Most often the stats looked for are Overall Quality (50%), Potential Energy (30%), and Flavor (20%). Course there are a few schems that say other things, but seeking resources with that little guide in mind should set any BE on the path to quality goods.
Side note, second....or fifth,accounts with ANY crafting profession screws EVERY crafting profession, not just BE. True, a few tailors/chefs have tissues making BE alts, but I know fighters who have weaponsmith or armorsmith alts. Its all the same screwed up system we've lived with for months folks. I bow my head in respect to those few like me who actually interact with other people for their needs instead of just buying another account. (And no, I am not trying to bash those with multiple accounts. Live and play as you will, just don't expect me to smile and say good boy to everything you do.)
