I know it sounds as a desperate plea, and I might actually get laughed at for this one. I looked in-game and was reading what skills you get for BE, and whatnot. Now, how does a BE actually work? if someone could like give me an in-depth understanding it would be a very big help.

Here is a BASIC run down.

1) you go out into the field to collect DNA samples frmo creatures, that have random stats on them.

2) you use a chemical crafting tool to create a "DNA Tamplate" using tthe samples you have collected

3)you use your chemical crafting tool again to combine animal meat andplants with your DNA template to pop out... TA DA!!!! A Creature.

Chemical Crafting tool.....where do I get one of those? I started off as a Artisan....Im not sure if you mean chemical survey....can I buy in a Bazaar?

Yep, thats about it. You're going to need a LOT of meat, and a LOT of flora. i would suggest getting some friends that can help ya getting some flora. do a bunch of 2000cr mission for cash, then go kill stuff for meat, then sample dna, then run and get the flora, then start making DNA templates, then make your creatures. Thats your day

And they definately made this class non-grindable. each animal takes 5 dna things, so the most you could carry would be about 25 or less (because you need to carry other stuff too) so thats only 5 creatures at a time...blah

If you started as an Artisan, you should be able to make a Food and Chemical crafting kit, with your General crafting kit.

Food and Chemical Crafting tool is made by Artisan with Eng1 I belive. It is one of the specialty crafting tools. Don't tell me you haven't been using them. :-) I would really suggest you use the specialty crafting tools near a specialty crafting station it you plan and using or selling anything you make. Because with out those you can't experiment.

3 regular flora harvesters and one wind (total price about 2k on my server) will ahve you in as much flora as you'll ever need and more as long as you're getting 70+% or so. If there's a really good flora harvest taht, otherwise any junk will do for grinding. If you don't plan to grind right through 2 will do you plenty as well. If you're really beign casual, 1 and just buy your power from the bazaar.

Make sure to check them every day in cases resources shift. You will be anyhow though since you need so much flora heh.

With meat dont be afraid to shout that you're buying or travel to other planets to buy it if there's a LOT on a really good price. Don't buy round trip tickets. Fly to the new world then run or hop shuttles to other planets to get meat there too if the bazaar lists a good price and then fly home from wherever you end up.

Im currently trying to become a BH for a Holocron. Im having a lot of trouble getting my skills up. Can anyone tell me what the best way to upgrade my skills in order to get BH and then Master it as fast as possible. I kno about 20 people wil complain that im asking for the quick way to do this but id much rather be mastering Talior (or Hopefuly sometime in the near future Jedi). So if someone could plz help me out id be greatful.

Here's how you become Master BH:

Kill everything you can with a pistol until you get Pistol IV.
Kill everything you can with a carbine until you get Carbine IV.
Kill everything you can with a rifle until you get Rifle IV.
Along the way train the Ranged Support branch.
Train Master Marksmen

Harvest everything you kill on your way to Master Marksmen for Hunting and Exploration.
Throw traps before you kill some things on your way to Master Marksmen for Trapping.
Sit in camps and craft more camps and traps to throw. Every 15 minutes disband your camp and start again. Sit in the biggest camp you can craft. For Survival XP.
Train Master Scout

Obtain 40K combat XP. Should be able to use C12 fragmentation gernades for big time combat XP. But, its actually best to grind out the 40K combat XP with Carbine and Pistol. You should be able to cap both at 200K before you go Novice BH.

Train Novice BH. Train BH Carbine I. Train BH Pistol I.

Kill Pikets on Dant in groups with your LLC till you reach LLC4.
Kill Pikets on Dant in groups with your carbine till you reach Carbine IV.
Kill Pikets on Dant in groups with your pistol till you reach Pistol IV.

Start BH missions (see FAQ). Obtain 10K BH XP doing novice BH missions before training in Investigation. Train in Investigation I and II. Obtain 6K BH XP train in Investigation III, obtain 18K BH XP train in Investigation IV.

Train Master BH.

No there is no easier way. BH is THE HARDEST profession to grind. I challange anyone to find a harder one. And don't name 1 crafting profession because with crafting macros and six crafting stations and a bunch of crap resources you can grind throughany crafting professionin less than two weeks.

razhlok.. i would say Jedi is probably THE toughest grind... but I don't plan on letting many people hit Master to confirm this.. There may be tougher grinds out tehre in some respects, but in most combat professions, once you hit the novice title, you can get two trees concurrently since you can use your combat XP... once you hit Novice BH, you will quickly cap your copmbat at 170k or so and NEVER use it....

Yeah, but the day we hear of someone getting a holo telling them to Master Jedi to unlock their FSCS we will know that this game is a buggy mess.
