im new to BE , i used to mass produce kaduus and sell them as mounts , this not quite as easy now as i cant just cample newbie monsters . But i cant seem to make level 10 kaduus now , closest i got is 11 which isnt any good to sell to non CH . Is there a way to experiment down the CL level onc you realise its too high ?? even making simle kaduus is becoming to much hassle . this new system need explaining by the devs , god knows how many hidden bugs there are

It's dynamic based on the stats, it seems. People are taking clones made from the same exact recipe and getting anywhere from 68 CL to 72 cl so there is some play in there based on how much you experiment.
All in all, it should be somewhere around the average level of your dna. (CL30 dna, + 4 CL 10 would be CL14 give or take)

Made CL 9 critters using nothing but lesser plains bol dna that did not turn out too bad. Was just playing with them though.. don't remember the specifics, but it was better than the kaadus I was turning out pre patch.

Based on 30 pets in the 20-40 range, more I experiment on psych, the lower the CL. Anyone have hard results that differ?

From what people are posting you can experiment on psychological and it lowers the CL. Might try that.

damage affects it, resists affects it (though i think only the "special protection" not necisarly the "effectiveness"), not sure on specials (i dont think it effects clvl), i think armor rating effects it, HAM as well... lots of stuff basically

Inbreed it with itself. You generally find that it'll keep the resistances but the CL will be lowered along with the HAM.
