Glad to see that Bioengineers are finally in shape to do some real clone engineering...

So far, all of the posts seem to be focusing on making very large animals at extremely high levels. That's all well and good, but I do rather prefer the idea of having pets that don't tower over me yet are highly competent killing machines. Looking at this from the standpoint of a Master Creature-Handler who's tired of doing things the hard way...

I wonder if any of you have had success in developing creatures with the following characteristics - I want to know the limits of what you can do:

Artillery- Medium to High HAM, but small body(make it the size of a mynock and I'll be yours forever). Ranged attacks. Prefer Strong Poison andStrong Diseasefor its special options. The more aggressive it would be, the better - in fact, downright psychopathic and extremely intent on using specials often would be superb. Armor would be nice but unimportant...

Dervish - High HAM, still a somewhat small body - maybe something on the order of the size of a plains cat or narglatch. Melee-oriented, obviously want it to launch as many strikes as possible. Heavily armored, especially against kinetic. Dizzy and Knockdown for the specials, since that works so well for TKMs. Highly aggressive, again - can't have a tank that's a wuss...

Super-Mount - High HAM, preferably on a speedy frame(I know that you don't really control this). Dizzy and Knockdown for the specials, and if it could do those at range that would be excellent. Heaviest armoring possible, and fairly aggressive...

In all cases, the AE form of the specials would be nice, but I don't think they'd give the force powers to BioEngineers no matter what...

I know it sounds like wishing for the stars, but quite frankly, I'd muchprefer tobuy customized pets off of a Bioengineer who can build what I want, instead of going out and settling for one of the types I can tame. And I'm not the only Creature Handler out there that feels this way - most of us would rather get the exact pet for our needs over making do with a standard template. I'd pay a lot of money to get breeds according to my personal tastes, and I'm sure I'm not the only one out there...

So what are the limitations in the system so far, and how much customization can we Creature Handlers look forward to in the future?

Oh, and another thing: I'd like to be able to have 2-3 pets out in battle of any given type listed. So like it or not, a major challenge for BioEngineers(and a huge source of profit for those who are successful) will be to generate the customized pets at as low a level as is possible...

I've made a CL14 which as 6k of HAM with ranged and these two attacks. Mainly a kinetic tank though. So yeah it can be done. Still trying to sell it off actually.

Sounds alot like my Demonic Narglatch I made last night. No knockdown but it has dizzy plus a ranged attack. Light armor and CL53 I think with 11k HAM. Around 50% kinetic and energy as I recall with protection to every other damage type too.

I'd probably just take the Mantigrue Reaper dna and look around for something of equally high stats for the specials. Can't think of anything off hand which has this pairing though.
