Ok so Im grindin up the BE tree and I gotta say, its pretty fun! I know it takes a while but Ive really enjoyed it thus far.. Long way to go still (0320) but it really seems like its worth it. I have been sampling around the trash yards by theed and moenia to use this macro. It takes about 30% human intervention (get outa the water, untarget babies, untarget npcs, untarget nests) but the real bonus is you can craft while you do it!! Not a perfect macro by any means but it sure helps get two things done at once. Le tme know wht you guys think and if you have any input to make it better.
macro name: autoDNA
/target self;
/pause 2;
/ui action cycleTargetOutward;
/pause 2;
/follow;
/pause 5;
/sampleDNA;
/pause 12;
/sampleDNA;

/target (bully);
/pause 1;
/follow;

/macro autoDNA;
The pet I have grouped with is named Bully ... you have to add the parantheses around the name to actually target the pet. This insert is per suggestion and works very well to keep you out of the water and close to where you want to be. Also the pet acts as a bodyguard if you have NO fighting skills like me. Thats it ... pretty simple but like I said works about 7 out of 10 times with no help. Hope it helps you out a bit and let me know if you have any suggestions.
Thanks for all the help on this everyone!
Ech and Ich
P.S. to stop the macrotype /dump

there are a few things you can do to make that a bit better...
Group with a pet/droid and place it near a spot where the trash spawns and tell it to stay. At the end of your sampling target the droid/pet... follow it, pause a few to give you time to get back to it and THEN start the cycle over. That will atleast keep you out of the water but I also put maskscent in there as well so that the creatures did not run so much.
I usually grouped with my alt which is a MCH... used him as the ancor and commanded one of his pets to follow and guard the BE because he has no fighting skills at all.

Also try going to Mos Eisley, Bestine, or Mos Espa, there's trash behind the starports there without water or NPCs to get you messed up.

Very good ideas guys ... I implented the droid grouping and commands and used a battle droid to do so. That way if a critter aggros on me the droid will kill it at the end of the cycle. I have ZERO fighting skills and this helps a ton. Also being buffed doesnt hurt to dang much either. lol
By the way if you target a pet make sure the name is in parantheses so if my robots name was BOB Id have to put in /target (BOB); for the target line. If you dont know how to change your pets name here goes...
Lets say you want your pets name to be TINY. Pull the pet out of your datapad and using the radial menu, you have to teach him 4 commands using his new name. Lets says we are going to train him the group,attack,store,and follow target commands ... it would look like this:
Radial menu: group
then type: /say TINY group
Radial menu: attack
then type: /say TINY attack
Radial menu: store
then type: /say TINY store
Radial menu: follow target
then type: /say TINY follow target
At this point the pets name should change to TINY and you can re-treach him the commands you just did other wise youd have to type /say TINY group to get him to group. Hope it helps!!
Thanks again for the help,
