Thread: slice hounds/general color bug?

this evening saw the test-tube birth of three generic brown slice hounds.
i had no option to customize their appearance. they were created via droid crafting station, under otherwise normal conditions. i've never had a problem with slice hounds or customizing much of anything before today.
the situation was repeatable, but not tested extensively. the subsequent creation and colorization of dune lizards before and after the slice hound incident(s) were fine.
forgive this thread if this is a known/infrequent issue. i'm dense.

I made a slice hound yesterday and was able to select from the full color palette.

It is a random bug - I made 4 slice hounds in a row and I was able to change color on 2 and on the other 2 totally skipped that screen. I've /bug'ged it in game and you should do so as well.

interesting. and you've found this happens with slice hounds, only?

I've never been able to choose a color for Slice Hounds... made about a half dozen, I guess. Always jumps straight to the naming window with no color palette at all. I just figured they didn't GET colors (even have a BE 'display' pet that SAYS that beneath its name 
)

i have successfully customized the hounds, but i'm not sure if i've created one post-CURB.

already tamed BE slice hounds are being affected as well. a red one turned into a generic brown when called.
