This has got to be the most confusing profession in the game. If anyone has a definitive, verbatim, complete guide on what slot affects what (HaM, Special Attack 1, Special Attack 2, Ranged, Resists) when creating a critter. I played with the Aggression and Physique slot but i didnt have persistant results in special attack placement. No offense to anyone who has posted but alot of what i read was just heresay, and , if thats all anyone knows thats just fine. I love the idea of Bio-Engineer but i have pretty much no clue what I'm doing when I make a DNA template.

With great friends like Guesstimate and Murphy, how can any Bio Engineer go wrong?

Hehhe

its confusing at the start, then when you start reading and applying you start to learn and might even begin to think you've got it nailed, then something happens that shouldnt that throws you off your path, bringing you back to confused and going back to tried and tested methods.

In all seriousness, its alot about trial and error, and, recording what you do to try and understand what went wrong. the great thing is that this board is very supportive and together we can, or are at least trying to, uncover many a thing

Thanks at first sight i thought that was the outdated version but it indeed is very much correct. There may be a FEW discrepancies but It's helping me along ...just played with rancors for the first time today...I dont think they appreciate it very much hehe.

I think this is the beauty of BE. Its not a simple throw in the best materials you can find, experiment on 1 stat and get the results. Its an art that has to be mastered with skill, not grinding experiance.

Once you pass the frustration you'll see the beauty of the profession.

The proffesion rocks!
I just wish I could have an alt to master it... the first time I have really felt the pain of skill points...

Master rifle/Master CH and 0044 medic with novice BE... Some days I like to kill stuff and some days I like to BE... *maxxed on all xp areas of BE* need to figure out what to drop... rifles or CH... I have grown quite fond of CH and rifle, but I like BE too... egad the pain... the PAIN!!!!!

On a side note, I have learned soooo much about BE and pets this past month it isn't even funny...
