What stats do I need on the resources in order to get a broad spectrum nutrient with a bonus of 85 or better?

TIA

probably around 2400 for Flavour+OQ+PE on all the ingredients. Maybe a touch higher but that will be close.

I am running two batches of 85 right now.

Batch 1:

Organic 0Q 972, PE 848, FL 191
Flora Food OQ 790, PE 987, FL 832
Creature Food OQ 904, PE 866, FL 994

OQ + PE + FL = 7384

7384 / 3 = 2461

Batch 2:

Organic 0Q 902 - This is wood so only OQ counts here

Flora Food OQ 790, PE 987, FL 832
Creature Food OQ 962, PE 981, FL 377

OQ + PE + FL = 4929 (this does not count the OQ of the wood)

4929 / 2 = 2464

Thanks for the help everyone. I got some of our current Dath carnivore meat which was around 2400 and Talusian fruit which was around 2200 and got up to 84, which my customer was satisfied with (enough to double his order).

I came up with a formula that seems to be pretty accurate for tailor tissues and BSN (one day I'll try other chef tissues):

http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=bio-engineer&message.id=63821

I tweaked it a bit since then - but the spread sheet is at home... changed the two constants (58 is now lower and 32 is now 34 I think - but the one listed is pretty close so far). It is definatly not perfect - but it is accurate to within a point so far.

The one thing that I found is to use something like hardwood with a very high OQ afor the organic and then try to find flora and meat with very good FL/PE and at least OK OQ. The fact that the wood does not participate in the PE/FL calculation reduces the need for all three stats of the other ingredients - and having the high OQ bumps up the overall OQ so you can scrimp on it.

Next task is to write a program that takes the swgcraft data, your saved resources data, the desired tissue type, and the desired level for the tissue and get it spit out what resources you should use... but that is going to take a bit longer because of RL and playing thegame :-)

60 + ((AVG / 1000) * 30) is, I believe, the correct formula.

60 is the lowest possble power - 90 is the highest.

So the formula for all tissue types is:

min_val = ((AVG / 1000) * (max_val - min_val)

For tailor tissues the min val is 0 and the max val seems to be 20 (or 5 in the case of melee defence) for the better tissues. Thus (AVG / 1000) * 20 (or * 5) is works for them.
