Thread: Can you /harvest meat from a creature you have sampled?

I didn't see this covered in the FAQ. BE will be my 27th profession, and I think I'm gonna come up a bit short on the meat I need for crafting. I was thinking that if I went up the DNA sampling line first and harvested as I go, I might get enough meat to make the difference. Will this work?

There is no change that SOE could make that would not cause people to protest. Whether they are nerfing the overpowered or giving love to the under developed, whether the change is small, or far reaching, someone somewhere will complain, protest, call it a 'slap in the face' and start a petition.

I meant, not if you kill it from sampling. You could get a sample then shoot it, but not sample it to death then harvest
