At least 2-3K credits per pet. When they want your "worst" pets, there may be an implication that you should charge really cheaply for this service. However, this is an extremely tedious, time consuming, and boringtask if a CH is wanting enough pets to get through a skill box (50, 100 or even more pets per order). Just gathering all the DNA you need will take quite a bit of time (I'm assuming when you say you're new to the profession, that you haven't worked your DNA sampling up much yet). Most high level to master BEs won't even bother with this type of order for this reason. For lower novices, it's a great way to get your sampling and BE xp up, and make some money, but don't sell yourself short.

Uuuum, you'll have to excuse me for my apparent ignorance.

I am close to master, and haven't crafted a single pet (nothing but Nutrient packs and sampling macros here) and I have yet to go through the CH profession, but to me, it almost sounds like these pets he's being asked to create are disposable.

I've had my Kaadu and my cat forever, I just thought you get them healed and they are good as new, so what am I missing here? Why would someone want a whole hoard of duplicate pets for grinding CH?

They tame them, train them and then delete them - fast griding of XP without having to fight

hmmm, interesting.

...........will have to remember to store me up some for this very reason when it's time to master CH.

Basically, CHs can just "buy" their xp. A CH with at least 10 different commands he can teach can get 1000 xp per pet. At the upper end of the CH tree, this is a faster way of levelling, provided they can find a BE wililing to make that many creatures at once, given that pets can't be factory produced. BEs that are working through CH themselves usually will tame and train their experiments that goes wrong.
