Bio Engineer Archive

I'm a BE in need of an accurate andcomplete list of bio-engineered creatures that are mountable. I've searched the forum, asked fellow players (CHs as I personallyknow no other BE exept for me), and consulted SWG Creatures, and I've got conflicting, inaccurate,or outdated information. I don't get to play SWG as often as I used to, so experimenting on all creatures that I think could be mounts would take a lot of time (and I might miss one!), plus require the services of a high-lvl CH. So I came to who knows best: my fellow BEs. Can you help me out with a complete, current,and up-to-date list here? Or point me to a thread that I missed? Thank you so much in advance!

Could I please get confirmation of this list from my fellow bio-engineers? I would just like additional confirmation because I couldn't even find a complete list of Bio-Engineered pets that could be trained as mounts on SWG Bio-Engineer or these forums. And I want to be 100 percent sure before I title a creature as nonCH or CH only Mountable in my critters name for my vendors....

Whether the pet is a CH, or Non-CH pet depends on the Clvl of the pet alone, the type of creature is separate.

Section 10 - Mounts

You can't make just any pet into a mount, however. At this time, the only creatures that can be mounted are: Dewbacks (Tatooine), Bols (Dantooine), Kaadu (Naboo), Carrion Spats (Corellia), Falumpasets (Naboo), Humbabas (Corellia/Talus), and Brackasets (Dathomir).

Add to that the more recent addition of Banthas and Cu Pa type creatures.

Its basically like5 creature "body" types. Carrion Spat / Kaadu, Cu Pa, Bantha, Humbaba / Brackaset / Falumpaset, and Dewback / Bol. Usually any variation on those animals will still be Mountable.

For example, if you see a Dune Bantha instead of a plain regular Bantha, they should both be mountable if you have the ability to tame them.

I know that CH and nonCh pets depend on CL. What I meant was whether or not I shouldlabel a pet: nonCH mountable or CH mountable only. Just wanted to clarify. My question was "What bio-engineerable pets are mountable?"

Not only does it give a complete list of bio-engineerable pets that are mountable, but it also lists all of the colors each mount can be made into. As for Gizmarkes list, it is correct EXCEPT the Humbaba. Humbaba is NOT a bio-engineerable Mount. For those of you interested, here is a complete list of bio-engineerable MOUNTS, according to the site nebdaar sent me to:

I'm going with this list for now unless anyone else has information to dispute it. Hooray to nebdaar for turning me on to a valuable site. Now I have a resource customers can check to choose the color for their mount, instead of me saying 'hmm...it comes in shades of brown, yellow, green, etc. Now what color would you like?" To which the customer says: "hmm...what shades of yellow?" And I reply "light to dark...even brownish yellow or orangish yellow" and the customer says "???" THANKS SO MUCH!
