Thread: Price Check Fish
Howdeh BE'ers, been randomly picking up Fish, sort of wondering what a base price usually is around. Or even what is looked for in Qualities, if any.
Fish:
Corellia - 190 units - FL (833), PE (373), OQ (27), DR (22)
Corellia - 29 - DR (5), FL (570), PE (80), OQ (589)
Naboo - 59 - DR (441), FL (724), PE (751), OQ (356)
Naboo - 19 - DR (296), FL (3), PE (340), OQ (873)
Lok - 17 - DR (694), FL (313), PE (931), OQ (734)
Thanks for any feedback..
Its best to check the bizaar and get an average price that way.
For example on one server some people sell fish for 100 credits per unit, on another it barely reaches 3 units per credit.
SO in this case...I would suggest you investigate for yourself.
By the way...Price Check reminds me of Diablo 2, if there where a way to cross the sevrer boundrys with items then I bet there would be many posts like this.
Heh.. Oook. Suppose I'll just have to wait around a few more months.
Probably a better chance of sale when I have many many more units anyways, then most I've seen pay higher merely for quanity rather than quality of fish.

Here's a bit o' helpful info for ya - OQ and PE are the stats we BE's look for in fish, and the minimum of one type that we can use is 24 units. While we do have a few schematics that use seafood, it's the petstim D's that ask for it by name andis the only schematic really worth the effort.
Well, I'll go one step further and say flat out that I doubt there is a market for fish. Someone is unlikely to take the trouble to pay a ton of money for fish and make 1 or 2 pet stims, except perhaps as a novelty. That's just crazy. Unlike milk, small quantities of fish really are of very limited use for BE's.
I dida bit of fishing to get survival xp. It's a "fun" way to do it, and you might earn some cash. What I found out, is that the fish needs to be of fairly high quality to be usefull for crafting the stim Ds.
I usually justrun the formula(FL+PE+OQ)/3. If the result is below 750, the fish doesn't seem to affect the end result in any significant way. This I heard from the BE buying some of it though.
The last bunch I caught averaged around 800 in the stats I think. This was a pile of 800 units, and I could get at least 120 cpu for it on Eclipse. Used about 2.5 hours to catch it, so you decide if it's worth your time.
Thobos
Everybody wants Pet Stimpack D but nobody wants to go fishing. I've tried fishing myself but I'd rather risk just using a lowly Pet Stim C in emergancies.
A few trips to the clone facilityareless effort than fishing.
I buy every stack of 24 or more fish I see on the bazaar no matter what it is listed at. I won't likely be selling the stims I make with them, they sure come in handy when the going gets rough.
