Thread: Thinking about picking up BE... quick questions however
I'm a 4/3/3/3 creature handler and I'm falling in love with animals and the wild, thus I started thinking that BE may be a logical fun profession for me to pursue. However I've heard from several people that BE is a bugged profession and doesn't offer much yet. Is this a true statement? Also to all you hard working BEs out there do you find your profession to be fun or is it very difficult to understand and find enjoyable? Hope these questions aren't too vague...
Oh one last thing, what are some advantages to a ch in picking up the bio engineer profession? Thanks for your help everyone.

The buggy-ness should be abating shortly. Big patch in the works, y'know?
A lot of Bio-Engineers are also Creature Handlers who are also <insert combat profession>. You can make your own pet stims, vitality packs, new pets, and tissues to get a tailor to put into clothes that will help with Bleeding defense, Melee/Stun defense, Cover (if you use a rifle), Mask Scent/Camouflage, Intimadate/Warcry (if you're a brawler of some kind), and if you're lucky enough to get a stack of 25 units of identical milk...Active Tranquilizers, a tissue that adds to your success when you tame or train your pets (only stuff you can already handle, for all intents and purposes). Although I don't know if anyone has said if that last tissue will still work after the CH re-vamp.
Once the Cloning changes are live, you'll also be able to make customized creatures, tame them, train them and sell them ready-to-go after you grow them up in your datapad. Lots of instant-gratification folks out there like that, and will pay ridiculous sums.
