Does the creature I choose to clone make a difference if the DNA is the same? If I use the same DNA to make a CuPa and a Gurreck, will they have the same stats in the end?

from what I have seen so far the CL depends on the DNA, so if you take your assembled and experimented CL 50 Generic DNA templet and throw it in a durni skin, you will have a CL50 durni. I am uncertain of any max or min CL limits for the skins

Yes, they will have the same stats pretty much, after the new system is in place the look is just a skin.

No 10 kimos, gurrecks and/or rancors... But... there doesn't seem to be an upper lvl cap... so 70 durnis might be funny.

Thanks for the replies.
Next question: If I can experiment up resists, and I make 100 Cu Pa's with 10% energy. Can I then sample those 100 Cu Pa's and make a 2nd generation and experiment its resists up to 12% or more? If I start out with enough clones in the first generation, is it possible to have generation N with 100% resist if I continuously experiment up the resists on each successive generation?

Sampling clones does not seem to work correctly, not sure if it's intentional or a bug. You don't actually seem to get resist higher than the samples you use. No 10% kinetic experimented up to 12% for example.
