Well. I'm pretty mad. I have no droids so I look for a droid engineer. I find one, buy a whole bunch of droids for a lot of money.

I take an investigation 2 mission and track him down to talus. Send out a seeker. The game crashes. Can't get back in for 20 mins. When I can log in I send out another seeker (not a good idea). Crashes again, locked out for 20 minutes again. Get back in delete the mission (forget all the money I just lost and time).

Take another mission. He's on tatooine. Get to tatooine, send out a seeker and cross my fingers. Track him down. He's white. ARRRGGGHH!! (and also the mission before the seeker crash was white too)

I have everything except investigation 3 and 4. Should I keep trying these missions and give myself an embolism?

What can I do as a combat class to ensure thatwhen your Bio-Eng changes go live, I as a Master CH can get my Kimo.

What types of materials do you need to make one (anyone)?

Also when the patch goes live i just want one but, what do you need in order to make the best ones?

What can you do? Get lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of meat. Good Overall Quality, Potential Energy, Flavor and Decay Resistance. And lots of good flora food (any flora that's not wood). And whichever Bio-Engineer you want to make your pet...offer to cover his/her arse while s/he goes out and gets the DNA to make what you want.

(The stats on the meat and flora are assuming that those things still matter to the quality of the clone, even if we can't experiment them anymore. I haven't found any info that indicates you can use junk meat/flora and get the same results as if you use good stuff. If someone else can clarify, that would be cool.)

BE WISH LIST:

Flora - 900+ potential energy and overall quality (PE and OQ for short) - any type

Meat - 900+ potential energy and overall quality - any type

Dna - Very High Quality from high level creatures with 900+ in at least 2 consecutive stats

The last one is entirely in the hands of the BE, but the first 2 are what you can help with.

Not playing anymore buy my stuff to help newbs.

Honestly, I think most BE's that are serious about the craft are going to have a supply of meat and flora. High quality stuff like that are no picnic to get, but critters don't take an insane amount of these, so once you've aquired some large stacks of those you're good to go for a long time. It's very unlikely that meat and flora are going to be the bottleneck. The bottleneck is going to be getting the dna, and I'm guessing that we'll need to get fresh post-patch dna to make this stuff work (I've already cleared out all my dna in anticipation). So my advice is, find a helpful BE that's not too backlogged asap, and request your creature now so that you'll be high up on the priority list post-patch. I'm guessing the advanced planets are going to be wall to wall BE's on the first day or two of the patch, lol.

I have to agree with Arthur here. I don't recall the exact amount, but it's around 100 meat/flora for a kimo. That's not to say you can't get a price break by providing meat. Between clones and tissues, a BE always needs lots of good quality meat and it can be hard to find people that sell in quantity sometimes. Where the biggest cost in making a clone comes in is the travel and possible death trying to get good samples. You can't get good dna for cl 40+ creatures on newbie planets anymore. You really have to go to the adnvanced planets and then spend the time trying to find the creatures you need.

Yep, you can certainly do that. Just pull the BE along behind you by the ear, lol. 5 anchient bull rancor dna samples may or may not be an ideal configuration to achieve a Kimo with that statistics that you are looking for (I'm sure in a couple of weeks we'll all know better), but you'll likely get at least a reasonable critter doing that.
