So, I made Master BE a few weeks back, but Maakar, my Master BE is one of three toons I play.

So, I'm not really much of a Master BE, but I'm trying. Some guy wants a really good Gurreck. He suggests I make five Kimogila and sample them.

Heck. Why not? So, from Gnorts I make Kimos. However, try as I might, I can't sample them. I destroyed on Kimo failing and never successfully sampled another.

Are they just too darned high to sample successfully?

What's your experience sampling critters? What about that level 95 Rancor. Can I expect to be able to sample from him as a Master BE?

Also, I'm finding I do NOT sample-kill nearly as much as I did when I was a newb BE.

Also, I'm finding I agro when sampling a LOT more than I did as a newb.

I *do* however get a lot more samples per critter now.

well who told you to do that with kemos has no clue what being a BE is. You should since master. There is a cap of CL70 as highest we can sample. Some have said they got CL75. So yes you can make for now Rancors from junk DNA, sample that and make Rancors from that. If real lucky you will have 5 nice templates. As referacne and I not as pickey as some, I go out and gather about 50 level 50+ DNA and sort them as make a critter. Sometimes I see a really good one and stash that away. But most time I may get 3 or 4 out of that that are decent. That being 850+ in pared stats. Depends on how good a pet you want to make in the end. Least till patch comes in. I can not speak for after the clone fix sinceI have not seen itmyself and that is a subject of many strings.

I'm thinking that the ones claiming to sample the higher critters may have skill tapes. Though I've never seen a DNA sampling skill tape in my life, nor an auction for one.

I have no skill tapes and I have no problem sampling lvl 75 critters. They deathblow too. But since they run so dang slow, I only get incapped (and killed) 1/30 tries.
