We may be experiencing some turbulence....
As some of you may be aware the incoming patch (scheduled for tomorrow) has made some changes to DNA - nothing that really affects us - they've just added serial numbers to the samples - HOWEVER - this change did not affect the old DNA sampled before the patch.
I have reported this issue several times and had zero dev communication on the issue - though I did note an attempted fix was made some time last week - which by all accounts didnt work - I have been unable as yet to ascertain whether or not it will still be an issue when the patch goes live so this is just a warning in advance - just in case you log in tomorrow and find you cannot use any of your stored DNA samples.

I do hope they will fix it soon if it is not already. I'm going to be unhappy to lose eight mutant rancor samples...
Please keep us posted.

ugh! well thanks for the heads up nancy, but sheesh I really don't consider this acceptable, not by a long shot. I know you're just the messanger but that's just really poor. Many of us have hundreds of dna samples in storage that we've been collecting for 6 months now. And worse than that are the multi-generation ones we have. I can't even begin to imagine how long it would take for me to replace them. There isn't any way for us to say "stop the presses?"

I've been nagging on the issue since it was first brought up weeks ago. I can only hope that they snook in a fix for it and everything will be fine tomorrow - if not, I shall continue to nag - but if they're not talking to me about it then theres not much I can do
The responses to the hot issues thread from last week seems to have focused purely on my opening paragraph explaining some of the disgruntlement in the community and completely ignoring any of my issues so far but maybe there will be more responses later.

The Patch got bumped to next Tuesday (29th) so it looks like you might have another week to work with.

FYI, Nancy had asked me to check the DNA situation again since I have old DNA on TC. Just managed to log on to TC2 and all my old DNA has serial numbers and shows up in the crafting tool again. Looks like we're good to go on theDNA problem.
