What do many of you charge for pets. The reason I recently went BE, was because I wanted to make pets for myself as I was getting tired of buying them. However now I find myself on the selling end of pets.

Let me break this down further:

1) For a Non - CH pet ( level 10 ), what do most of you charge for these with fairly decent stats.

Do you tend to charge more for lets say level 35 pets, (which can be grouped with other level 35 to form the magic number 70 )?

Do you tend to charge more for lets say high end high number 60ishand up pets?

I guess I am trying to figure out if I am charging too high or too low. I will say this much. After completing the leveling and going out to the numerous planets to sample DNA I have a whole new respect for the work that goes into the profession. You end up on your back more often than not trying to get the good DNA, spending time and money.

I do have a greater appreciation for the profession and understand why the pets have been expensive. The time invested in DNA chasing is not spent doing money missions like so many others.

So any guidelines please post.

1. I don't make them with decent stats, since we don't know what is ligit and what is not, I make lowlevel mountables, sell on Bazar for $6k or on my vendor for $5k.

2. Yes Definately, although most CH's don't always get how specials are key at this level too.

3. Yes, but more geared towards the skin... i.e. a level 69 squall is not going to get top dollar.

Also keep in mind light armor and your resists.

I moved to Corellia I have no vendor and I don't know the coords to my house, but it doesn't really matter cause all my pets are in the tool box, I may have some in space, but that doesn't really concern you either.

1) For a Non - CH pet ( level 10 ), what do most of you charge for these with fairly decent stats.

My CL10's are 6kH, 27 Kinetic, with 65 damage, 0-2 specials. I charge a set amount for these. I only make these because they have had no reported taming troubles and fall significantly under the "uber" 10's that seem to have "I will be nerfed" tattooed on their rumps.

2. Do you tend to charge more for lets say level 35 pets, (which can be grouped with other level 35 to form the magic number 70 )?

I charge a set amount for specifically CL35s that have light armor and a certain acceptable range of stats. I typically make these in pairs of identical skins for client selection.

Do you tend to charge more for lets say high end high number 60ishand up pets?

Again, a set amount that is in what I call the "prohibitive" range for my CL68-70's since these specifically require exhorbant amounts of my time, coin and gear degradation for me to create. Clients who ask me why they are priced in that range are given an honest, direct answer regarding the difficulty involved in their creation and I have never had a client not make the purchase after that.

Any pet that does not fall in the 10, 35, 70 range is priced using a downloaded Pet Pricer calculator that takes into account all the stats. The prices are extremely fair and reasonable, which is why I continue to use it.

Pets that recycle on my vendor (I typically have over 190 pets at any given time) are repriced in the "bargain" range to be more attractive for sale.

I try to keep it simple. There's no need for an extravagant formulae unless you just really like doing that.

I charge 1k per level and add 10k for armor.

non-ch wimps are 10k and

non-ch with decent ham are 15k.

Mistakes get put on the bazaar for 5k.

Currently I'm making more money than I want.
