To all Bio Engineers, I am collecting info on what type of Prestige Class you would like to see after Master Bio Engineer. For example...

After achieving Master Ranger you have now opened the paths to:

  1. The Outdoorsman (Big Game Hunter)

  2. Antarian Ranger (possesses minor force resistances and abilities)

  3. Combat Ranger (master of guerilla warfare)

Those were just examples of ideas I had for the Ranger profession. Now that you hopefully see where I am going with this idea, I would love to see where you would like theBio Engineerto go after achieving the title of Master Bio Engineer. Any and all input is welcome, but please try to keep it constructive.

I would like to see a title like Genetic Enhancement Master or Genetic Enhancement Specialist. I think these two titles are worthy of being master. Right now, I am currently using the Breeder title just for fun.

I would like to see a class that can enhance already existing creatures by crafting stuff into ther genetic code

like a mutant womprat made by a player the creature then gets a limited lifespane but is over charged.

Also the ability to breed creatures usingselective breeding would be nice.

so we can create hibreed or chimeara creatures.

Also a bio lab als a class building would be nice so jou can offer 2 creatures and make a new one from that mold.

But wat i mist the most is the ability too create bio grafts or gene therapie for PC zo just like a dokter we can enhance things but like a drug the have a downside.

Want more power in melee lose points in range.

things like that.

Frankly, when I hit Master BE I'm going to be very happy that the grinding is OVER. Adding more advanced subclasses does nothing but increase the grinding time. If MBE is not satisfying to you, how long will you be satisfied with 'Super Cloning Taskmaster' or whatever new title? Will you then desire yet another tier? Do you just like grinding?

Myself, I like the grinding, but its not grinding to me, its playing a game I like. I'm in no hurry to get it over with.

Not at all. I plan to stay BE. My point is that in these games, crafting always involves this initial period of drudgery before you can become economically competitive. Moving the 'prestige' bar up another tier has absolutely no net effect on the game. It's like making a guitar amp that goes up to 'eleven', whether you call it 10 or 11 it's still 'full volume'.

I think Prestige classes should require XP (a LOT of XP) and should use skill points. Otherwise, every Master BE will jsut get all the Prestige classes so we will all be the same again like we are now and thats jsut silly.

Anyway, here are my ideas for BEPrestige classes:

Veterinarian: Gets a couple new schematics for more powerfull pet stims that can onlybe used by a veterinarian and have greater healing with reduced re-use time. Also gets schematics for pet enhance packs usable only by veterinarian. Maybe some added experimentation and assembly points to be used on stims and vitality packs only

CloneEngineer: Get new abilities for crafting pets. Not sure what abilities could be added. Maybe jsut greater control over what statistics are chosen from which DNA samples used in the template. AS it stnads now its pretty random how things combine from mixed DNA.

Tissue Engineer: Adds experimentation points to be used on tailor and chef tissues only, maybe some more powerful schematics for the chef and tailor tissues as well.

DNA Specialist: Enhanced ability to sample DNA with more Very High Quality samples, better success rate, lower chance of aggro, and ability to sample DNA from higher level creatures.

Aha, already came up with an idea to avoid this. You not only have to max out all the skills it takes to achieve Master Bio Engineer, but you are then subjected to timed release of quests to attain the Prestige Class you are working towards. And you can ONLY have ONE Prestige Class at a time. You choose to go for, Gene Splicer instead of Veterinarian and you cannot become a Veterinarian until you completely drop the Gene Splicer tree and work up the Veterinarian tree. This process would take time too as the boxes only open when the timed release allows it and you have the prestige points available to get that box. Prestige points cannot be spread out amongst the Classes either. You couldn't get a box in Gene Splicer and one in Veterinarian. You start a tree, you finish it.

I would rather see more content for the current class (not that there isn't enough) the secret research data was a step in the right direction (has anyone found any? what does it do?) How about quests a la the RIS quest but for a new skin so we can make a gorax or something.

Ok i am being over the top but you know what I mean. And if there is some of this stuff and i am just missing it please tell me

Good ideas so far. Here is what I had in mind for the Prestige Classes. It doesn't take more XP to earn them. You unlock them by earning certain Prestige points. Prestige points are earned by completing quests unique to that profession.
