I hear everyone doing missions for them and taming them, but I cant seem to either get the missions or find them in the wild. Can anyone please tell me a "general" area that I might find one to tame. And no I dont want a BE one even though theyre better, just a reg one...

Go to dath outpost, bring up the imp prison poi and head that way, you are bound to see a ton

Don't know the wp, but you can also head west of the North outpost to Rancor Valley. Fair warning it is suicide. I spent more time running than anything else.

If you are not finding any lairs, hang around a bit. Creatures spawn the longer a PC is in the area...

U can now pull missions for them on any mission terminal on dath. If u wan to do enraged rancors u will need to have a big group to pull the missions

Dathomir I Get the missions from the Middle Outpost, dont remember if that is Science or Imp. But I get them as a Master Rifleman alone, I get the Bull rancor Lairs from the terminals with My Rancor and Probot grouped with me. I have 5 babies, searching for the elusive Bull Baby...

Goto the dathomir sarlac, theres loads of all different types there and always loads of babies.

I have been commisioned to make a rancor for display. Do I really need to get high quality DNA again, or can I use scrap?...any answer will be appreciated....

I suppose that you can just use scrap DNA because if its not for fighing why should you use your good samples for a display?... although, if you want to advertise you could make a good one to show off your mad skillz...

That depends if you think the 'level 35' tag on the rancor would be considered an unsightly blemish. You can also go the other way on a display and make him too high of a level to be used, perhaps making him 'scaryer'.
