Reading the accounts of wildly different pet stats being ruled invalid after Pub7. We have been making modest 4/3/2K HAM non CH pets for some time now and were worried that they would be declared invalid.

Fortunately, we have had no reports of stat adjustment after talking to a dozen or more users, plus calling our own non CH pets and mounts.

My partner has a theory, which I place here for consideration. All of our CL10 pets are first generation. We have never done generational cloning, because we were concerned about Bravery factor.

So asking: If you have had stats adjusted on a non CH pet, was it a multi-generational clone or not?

Doubt that we will ever know the "logic" behind dev thinking on this, but we can always look for clues.

Of the invalidanimals I know so far, two were first gen, one was not. I made a first gen CL5bantha last night after the patch whichwas immediately declared invalid and adjusted to CL7. Why in the world would it say CL5 then declare it invalid and adjust it to a 7? Why doesn't it just say CL7 to begin with? That's rhetorical of course. I don't think the devs can answer that.

For me in particular that's the most frustrating part. I can make and sell animals which say CL10 but actually are CL11 or 12 andI have no clue, either do my customers. Most of my sales are off a vendor which makes it worse.

As I posted yesterday, I made over 20 CL10 pets yesterday using the new crafting system. All were in the neighborhood of 10k health, 4.5k action and 4.5k mind and 60% kinetic. All were tamed and called fine.

They were all multi-generational - so we can rule your hypothesis out.
