I can also confirm this, the clones do not appear to have any special moves once they are tamed. I dunno if this is a glitch with examining them or if they are actually not functioning. I'd call that a pretty major bug in my opinion.

I've been testing, and they actually do do some specials. My Graping Spider Hunter does his Special 1 attack, Stun attack. Although he wont do ranged, or special two

I made my first pets and most of the specials went through from the original dna - i used all the same dna samples to make sure they would. The interesting thing is that my ranger friend can see the specials for my wild pets but he cannot see the specials for my BE pets. (I can see them in my datapad examine window)I also noticed that the specials only worked one time in about 30-40 attempts. I need to check it out more. There maybe a long timer on them or something - cuz it seemed the first one worked for one pet - but then i never got another special attack 1or 2from my pets for the next 5 minutes.

I've never been a CH so this is hearsay - don't CHs gain the ability to tell the creature which special/ranged to use as they go up the tree?

Same here. I have not been able to get either attacks on any of my BE pets to work. Also my Tamed pets have same problem.

hope this gets fixed soon as that takes away a huge part of the Pets arsenal

I believe CH's are reporting that the commands to force a creature to do a special aren't working.

Yes Asuar, that was added. However, I believe the pets should also do them on their own, as usual.

I have heard from a friend that the pets need to be fully grown or near that before they can utilise their special attack commands

Not 100 percent sure as I havent been able to test this. but Ill keep you updated.

Any word on this from you others ?

I have found that if you initate the attack with a special, the specials will work on demand from then on until the creature is stored.

As a Master CH, I can tell you that from my experiences this is not working for me. After the hotfix on th 17th, I could finally get my pets to actually initiate combat with their special attacks (prior to the hotfix they would just stand there looking all cuddly). But they still do not do their special moves, they just run go into combat mode.

I have tried now with 16 different pets (pre-patch tamed, post-patch tamed, and post patch BE created). None will do their special attacks upon command that I can tell. Since the combat spam does not say if they are doing a special move, the only way I can tell is by watching the messages over their heads. So far not a single one has attempted a special move when I used their commands (they still do their specials randomly as before). This also holds true for ranged attack commands as well. I went on an herbivore meat hunting spree last night for 5 hours, killing everything around, so I got to test out the specials pretty thoroughly .

Another little feature this patch introduced is the /tellpet command stops working. Storing and calling back out seems to clear it up, but it is definitely something you want to find out before going into combat (all my hotkeys are set as /tellpet to reduce spammage, and these hotkeys would stop working without any notice all night last night). Using spacial commands will still work though.
